Fallout 1 – New Ian & Tycho Critters

This way game feels more natural, and is more challenging to me. Once I went to Necropolis with the holy mission... to exterminate these pity subhumans... the battle has started... suddenly brave, but poorly armoured dogie went on the second edge of map (another big badass plus of Fallout - you...

Fallout 1 – New Ian & Tycho Critters

Same here. Also, I'm never giving them better armours than they got by default. Besides, Ian is no longer Ian without blue pants, the same with Katja (her green hair). I've been using NPC appearance mod only for Lulzout 2 to get rid off fucking Vic and Sulik (later in game - can't watch him...

    Scenery stuff and such...

I know. But if you'll change boat then you must change subbie, otherwise whole scene will still look like shit. Or perhaps Pixi meant adding exhaust pipes only... but I think is better to remove them. Personally I'd left all this subbie related crap as it is, since changing one thing will force...

    Scenery stuff and such...

How about this Pixi? Looking better? Technique is very simple: reset to default, b&w colors, set new empty layer to Hard Light and start defining, or redefining (all damages on that four grey-sih trucks are pure 'shopping, the only thing I re-rendered, and later c&p'ed was that driver...

    The screenshots thread

Good. I'm really evil person. On more serious note: I'm not even trying jump on the mountain related stuff again, because it'll end in nowhere. I simply don't have will power for this kind of huge epic projects anymore. And yes, doing waterfall would require loading stuff into 3d, and...

IIRC this shit is uploaded too. Would be pretty cool to walk inside of it, I think (tonz of tiles!).

    Talking Heads

It's a signature to left no doubts who made this ;) On more serious note: it's a seam and texture supposed to be seamless  Seam is going even far through forehead (towards camera), even throat is cut in half, but issue appears only in this specific area. Each head got its unique unwrap...

So are the first two games worth playing?

Fallout: America's First Choice in Post Nuclear Simulation. Don't forget about superb animations. Also, I think that character's heads are true kvlt masterpiece - I'm sure that artists have put a lot of effort to create them. I can count triangles on his hat! Yay! Low poly in high-res is soo...

    The screenshots thread

Textures (IIRC, + one .obj file) for mountain shit are floating over MR's ftp thingy (IIRC, diffuse + bump, both are seamless). IIRC, they're quite large (too large?) - 2000 x 2000 (?) x 2 (two variants). Talk with MR's team if you want them.

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 2.1.2b (Unofficial Expansion)

:salute: Futuristic, not only retro, but futuristic too (fifty-fifty ;)). And NCR cops don't look futuristic at all. Again, it's weird that military (and special police forces for that matter) uniforms/armours evolved and are looking futuristic, but cop's uniforms stuck in our 1950s. Also...

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 2.1.2b (Unofficial Expansion)

I think you missed my point... Police uniforms itself aren't the problem, the problem is their look. War has started in 2077, not in 1950. More than 100 years has passed. Uniforms evolved, just like in our timeline and they shouldn't look like straight rip off from our 1950s. Compare...

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 2.1.2b (Unofficial Expansion)

That was in 1950 of our timeline, Fallout is taking place in alternative retro sci-fi reality. This kind of shit makes game very unconvincing, not to say silly.

    What defines 'Fallout' for you?

Stuff like being isometric, or turn-based is what DEFINES the game, just like setting, c&c, etc. And has exactly the same value, like everything else. Perhaps Fallout 3 and and its total conversion - New Vegas aren't bad games, but Bethesda/Obsidian stripped those key elements, which define...

    What defines 'Fallout' for you?

The Best PC Game Ever Made and Bethesda Obsidian Sodomize Disgusting Console Shooter of course.

    Scenery stuff and such...

As I already said, somewhere here: transform your object into a shadow: Areas pointed by red marks are too dark (almost black). Compare your vehicle with shelf Pixi posted, or iguana table to check how light should affect object and shadows. Also, paint it.

Vault Boy pics for the Hero Appearance Mod

My favorite: How about replacing that ugly boy with those beauties on all images when you're playing as female?
