    This goddamn forum: stereotypes abound!

Isn't this thread just an excuse for shitposting? That's a copypasta. It stopped being fun since 2010.

What are your favorite open ended/sandbox games?

If you look at the dev goal of Toady, you will expect him to never finish it. He aim to arrive to version 1.0 in the next 20 years, but that's very unlikely. And rather than making it accessible to the average gamer, I'd prefer him to work on optimization and performance, I'm getting sick of all...

What if Fallout 4 was not called Fallout 4 and not made by Bethesda?

I wouldn't have pirated it either. 28 giga for a game is a huge waste of data space to me.

Things we learned from Fallout 4

They were waiting for mods to fix the Capital Wasteland.

Fallout 4 makes Fallout 3 look like a great roleplaying game.

That remind me that you could choose your age in previous Fallout, including Fallout Tactics. Could you believe it? Not that it had any RPG implication, but you could choose who you are.

221 : Bethesda don't have balls, they don't have a spine or guts either.

What are your favorite open ended/sandbox games?

With no particular order : - Cataclysm DDA, it's like Fallout 4 in ASCII, more complex and better in any aspect. Even the radiant quests are better and more challenging. Complete crafting system that makes sense (you can't change the caliber of your gun by changing the receiver for example)...

    Things That Serve No Point

You wouldn't have thought that strategic technology would be readily available to your closest Super-Duper Mart so that civilian can build their own version of war mech in their backyard. Military and industrial used to be more secretive with their latest innovation even in time of peace. I...

Name a thing you DON'T hate in Fallout 4

That has nothing to do with the game, except that it is fanart.

Disney meets Bethesda meets HBO? New Star Wars movie

The first EU comics I've read were Tales of the Jedi. The art style was so amazing that it sucked me into the EU for a decade or so. It was less scifi than an epic, the narration of legendary deeds of noble or infamous heros, and that's the other reason why I loved TofJ.

Any point in increasing non-combat skills?

There is no speech skill, it is replaced by driving, and it's kind of useless, unless you want the Road Warrior perks. Doctor, and Science skills give you a bonus damage to living creatures and robots. Between those two, doctor is the only skill you should consider tagging for you starting...

Disney meets Bethesda meets HBO? New Star Wars movie

Disney did say they had to blow up all the EU "to give maximum creative freedom to the filmmakers". I don't see any ounce of creativity in TFA and that piss me off, it's like listening to Todd Howard sweet lies again. And on a personal note, the films never meant anything to me, all I cared...

Fallout 5 Predictions Thread (with EXPLOSIONS!)

Emil wouldn't be able to write something like that. A spy game would need a whole new game mechanic for investigation, stealth, ciphering etc... , a really solid main plot and dialogues (spying isn't about shooting people in the head, explosion, and giant mech, but chatting, lying, seducing...
