Things we learned from Fallout 4

IIRC weren't there mod options available where you could just switch between 308 or 5.56 just by switching the mag type in the modification menu? I remember this really flustering me.

Things we learned from Fallout 4

Oh right, something to add to the actual thread. What I learned from Fallout 4 was that for intelligent scientists, no one in the Institute thought to add in tracking software or a tracer tag to synths before they go out. I also learned that apparently all it takes to change the caliber of...

Things we learned from Fallout 4

I thought that had more to do with asking if you fucked dogs and stuff. But i've probably played too much of loverslabs mods in my life.

Things we learned from Fallout 4

Ken Levine is the same guy who decided to center the entire plot of Bioshock Infinite around concepts he didn't understand, such as Quantum Theory. He's not exactly the type of person you should be looking to for inspiration when the Bioshock2 Devs did a better job with his creation than he did...

Things we learned from Fallout 4

A spot of luck thankfully. I'm still worried Bethesda will try for VTMB especially. That or Stalker.

Things we learned from Fallout 4

From what i've heard its only because Emil Pagliarulo wanted to create a game with a post apocalypse setting. Which would explain the lack of care when it comes to Bethesdas idea of world building in their iterations of Fallout as well as respect for the lore and staying within the bounds of the...

The future of the Brotherhood of Steel?

That seemed less of a common operating procedure and more of a forced situational event. The brotherhood had just arrived and only brought military, and just a small portion they can fit on their ship and some vertibirds. Odds are in the capital wasteland they'd made farms and either had a more...

Can the Great Khans be called a 'tribe'?

Hm, Khans aren't included in the tribal description though, they're left closer to the raiders and Fiends. I wonder how Obsidian felt about the Khans and if they ever addressed the tribal question for New Vegas.

    What Fallout 4 should've included

You're comparing time investment with fulfillment. Fallout 4 can be fun at times, but its not a fulfilling game. It's just a game you sink hours into to complete the same repetitive goals. Compare that to New Vegas or Fallout 2, each which could take a significant amount of time to complete but...

    What Fallout 4 should've included

The thing is, it's not like the Brotherhood wouldn't notice the Mechanist. Her robots are fucking everywhere. You can barely walk a city block without one of them screaming about justice at you and trying to vaporize you. And with all the vertibirds that the Brotherhood has there is no way they...

    What Fallout 4 should've included

Yeah, it hit me at one point when just fighting some exploding eyebots, where I thought to myself "why aren't the brotherhood absolutely freaking the fuck out about this?". Someone has the fallout equivalent of a damn Starforge in boston and is loosing psychotic robots all over the region...

What faction did you pick in Fallout 4

I never beat it. I got too annoyed around the battle for Bunker Hill where everyone was fighting each other and ignoring me. But up until then I was going for Brotherhood of Steel. Mostly because of the vertibirds. I never fast travel for that morrowind experience.

    What Fallout 4 should've included

The only thing Bethesda got right with the Brotherhood is the vertibirds, and the need for food, and that's just my opinion from a gameplay perspective. From a lore perspective the Brotherhood is fucked in FO4. Not only do they entirely ignore the Mechanist, who is mass unleashing robots...

Why Fallout New Vegas is the high point of the franchise

Fair enough. I might be a bit biased with how often I eat cheese.

Your Waifu/Husbando/Best Male/Girl in New Vegas?

Think of it this way, eating her out would be like having a nice helping of hamburger helper. Everyone loves hamburger helper.

I'm wondering if the Great Khans should have been presented more ambiguously...

The khans do have some roaming patrols now and again, though storywise they do have less bite, other than the quests where you need to recruit them. It feels more realistic to me though that they're much more reserved and less violent after fallout 2 as well as the bittersprings massacre. The...

Why Fallout New Vegas is the high point of the franchise

Shivering Isles in oblivion was pretty good though. But im guessing thats because of Kirkbride.

    Grave Whispers

I've heard them but never could make out the words. Sounds very reminiscent of morrowinds ancestral tomb whispers. Though I have this feeling i've heard it in Kotor 2 as well at some point in the game.
