They've been playing on the old ecksbawks. It uses lower textures. PC Oblivion looks a hell of a lot better with a high-end computer. Maybe they decided to switch to the PC for these ones. And the lack of shadows is to make the game run faster. I think they said that with all the Havoked...

Maybe it's the fact that they are reusing the same graphics engine. Meh, it's pretty good, but not up to scale with Unreal Engine 3 which is damn good looking.

Both Fallout games are in their Hall of Fame. They might not be putting on there just cause of FO3.
