    It means what it says ;). Run validator only from a drive with at least 1.2Gb free. Don't worry you'll get your space back. If you don't for some reason -- clear temp folder manually. Yes, if there is no result.dat you have ordinary CD and do not need to do anything. Thanks for cooperation. ;)
