I don't get what everyone is getting on about exploiting turn-based combat. My level 1 character can take down a mutant with a 10mm pistol in Fallout 3. In Fallout 1 I would never try that.

I think you have it backwards. The side quests are too few and mediocre. Many of them simply do not make sense. I won't reiterate the arguments here. This forum has a handy search function to show you as to why most of the side quests are just not that good. I don't think so. In Fallout...

Fallout 3 is 6 day old hog swill compared to the 25 year old Chivas Regal that is Fallout 1 and 2.

I wish it were perfectly okay to dismiss Fallout 3, but it literally still gives me nightmares.
