NICE! great work!

my lcd was $289 CAD before taxes... philips 170s6, dont know if its a good brand but it came with a 5yr warrenty. There were some weird cheaper makes at the store ive never heard of before and they looked funny, so i wasnt going to touch them.

I run the game fear in 1024x768 and its not blurry or anything, in fact its pretty dam sweet (fear is a kickass game)... i even play fallout 1 on the default 640x480 and its still good but everything is huge though. It is also very nice being able to veiw whole websites, without side scrolling...

i have a 17' lcd set at 1280x1070 at 75hz and its sweet. My brother has a very expensive flat screen crt monitor and side by side mine is much more clearer, brighter (can be turned down), and the colours are much better. When ever i use a crt monitor now I find it hard to read the icons because...

nice setup... but you should invest in a lcd monitor, there much better and not that expensive anymore I would never go back to a crt monitor ever...

Ive never used anything else but bosee :shock: Ill have to check out this official editor you talk about, because ive never used it before, thx for the tip EDIT: I feel like a dumbass, all this time i was messing with bosee... those tools are great

*cough* you still use bosee for that... you just edit the charecters with bosee so that they can start with different weapons and whatnot. i think you have to edit farsights and stitch's inventory because you cant really edit your own, since your equipment you start off with is based on what...

bosee is what you need, among some other programs if you want to do weapon/item images look in the files section under fot to find what you need

1. No, just extract the longmod.dat and put the files in the folders there supposed to be in in te c:\falout2\data-- (making sure that the .pro and pro_item.msg is read only) 2.Yes... soon as you load up your game it wil have effect.

simply put... make all your .pro files and item_pro.msg file readonly, and put them into your c:\fallout2\data\proto\items folder For inventory frms, you do not have to make read only... put them in your c:\fallout2\data\art\inven folder Boot up game and enjoy new frm and weapon damage...

But these kinda 'overheating' problems should have been called out and fixed BEFORE it was released... now they've got a bunch of pissed off xbox fans

you have to make the new modified proto files READ-ONLY if you put them into your c:\fallout2\data\proto\items... the game will automatically delete them if there not read only, found that out the hard way myself :P I recommend putting your newly modded files all in the data folder rather...

I make my frm's from psd file format... make backround transparent, grab the magic eraser tool and click on the transparent backround and it will feather the edges of the extracted image. Repeat untill all edges are nice copy extracted pic, make new pic with pure blue backround (255b,0g,0r...
