    Fallout 3 The Pitt Reviews

Great call - you actually nailed it pretty well with that. I also felt some kind of strange deja vu going through the steel mill.

    Fallout 3 The Pitt Reviews

A La Wherner, I felt that Beth actually did a much better job for his voicing and dialogue. The look and the way he behaved was way up there. In my game (perhaps unintentionally), he murdered his ex-slaver, and then walked up to her corpse and shot her in the chest a few more times afterward...

    Fallout 3 The Pitt Reviews

Autoaxe was an interesting idea but a thoroughly useless weapon for me ultimately due to the fact that using it would causing the blade to become invisible, followed by the entire weapon, and followed by not being able to find it on my character in third person. One notable thing about the Pitt...

    S.T.A.L.K.E.R. art

Darn Leon, great job identifying all of them. Now, if we could have the admins rename the images or at least add those names in the description, and yes 01 is indeed a Controller.

Fallout 3 lead opens game design vault

.. And it still sucks. But that's not your fault. No one could re-create that epic intro. Not even us. Morrowind had tons of writing. In fact, I remember some pieces of backstory being thrown at you in great gobs, and I sat for at least thirty minutes in Vivec's lair reading...

CGSociety talks with Fallout 3's Environment Artist

It could've been just fine if they devoted all of their resources to designing towns, quests, and the-like a la Fallout 1/2, and had the wastelands connecting said towns be completely procedurally generated. That way at least you'd be willing to travel through bland sandy dunes and cracked earth...

CGSociety talks with Fallout 3's Environment Artist

 That really says something, based on how some of the Wasteland looked, you'd figure it was procedurally generated. Well done. As for Oblivion, the forests, if I recall - especially Todd bragging about their 'studies with the ecological groups in colleges, and studying how forests...

    Max Payne 3

Business Quarter 1 of 2009. October 1, 2009 – December 31, 2009. Also: It’s set for release on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Source As per actual game: I don't care. I was satisified with Max Payne 1+2. It ended for me there.

    Gamasutra interviews Jason D. Anderson

The original Fallout oozes style, depth, atmosphere, and most importantly intelligence. Fallout 3 was designed for an audience severely lacking patience and critical thinking. Anything harder than a three piece peg puzzle is frustrating. Anything that doesn't offer instantaneous gratitude is...

Mad Max 4 Will be an Animated Movie

It could be good if it's well done. A good example of a Post-Apoc anim: Here Sad to say, but we simply need more post-apoc stuff about, films and such.

Has anyone here played Halo Wars?

Yeah, no thanks, with all courtesy and respect, fuck Halo. I've played tons of first person-shooters, literarilly starting up with DOOM in 1994, and forever then onward, and there's nothing unique or special about Halo in any way, shape, or form. It's nowhere near as innovative or amazing as...

    Most frustrating game(s) ever...

I have the patience of an oak tree, but I am suprised that you guys never mentioned this little gem: The Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and the Flame. How many times I've died in this game? Perhaps 15,000, but even that's just an estimate and probably too low. Maddeningly hard, almost...

Todd Howard and Ken Levine NYCC Panel

That above comment almost makes me feel bad for Todd Howard, it makes him seem like George Bush, a man who believes he is genuinely doing good for the world but not realizing the real damage he is causing. :(

Fallout 3 The Pitt - First Screens

Not to mention the fact that those ridges would be utterly useless in the way of 'cutting' as they'd get stuck in whatever it was they were supposed to be used for, making an extremely ineffective chainsaw. But hey - it looks cool, and that's what it's all about.. right? ...... right?
