    Fallout 3: Skills and Perks

That would make them borderline inedible. Too much bone, too little meat. I suppose the message is: cannibalism is okay, as long as you've got a tracker for it (hur hur.)

Interplay Website launched, hires Chris Taylor

*Sigh* Except for "Fallout Online", yes. Which is why they're making a Fallout Online game right now. Or may be.

    Fallout 3: Skills and Perks

Hell, I'll go on record and say, based on what I've read in the Vault, I don't like *any* of the Beth-created Perks that I've read. The "Solar Powered" Perk was just an extra-stupid one.

    Fallout 3: Skills and Perks

I had that exact same reaction when I read the "Solar Powered" Perk, "The fuuu....." I'm definitely not liking these new Perks. Just one more notch on the "Why I don't buy Fallout" list, know what I mean?

UK vendor shipping CE to Europe?

Ah... he was talking about the "super-secret UK-only version." As in this one So getting the US special edition won't help in this regard. Though I'm sure you could order the UK version and THEN ship it to Germany.

Chatting with Vault Dwellers from PAX

Right. Basically the problem is that they're exposed, like phone booths, and that they're single-person shelters. There are just so many things to complain about when it comes to those shelters, I really don't know where to begin.

    Fallout Haiku

Becky wants her cash Where is this jackass named Fred? Oh, he's just outside. Next: Wannimangos And NOT Master and Morpheus, because SOMEone forgot how this is set up. *Sigh*.

Chatting with Vault Dwellers from PAX

Oh. I wasn't sure if you were being serious or not. So I just played it like it was straight. It's impossible to figure these things out unless someone does the "sarcasm tags" thing. Yea, but it's a really lame joke. It doesn't mesh with what was happening in the Fallout universe, and...

Chatting with Vault Dwellers from PAX

Geography. And no, they need a better sense of how long the nuclear war lasted ('bout an hour or two, as I recall), and need to realize that it doesn't make any sense for the Chinese to be in DC at that point in time. Though in Bethsoft's newly ret-conned Fallout universe, why, it makes...

The brother hood of Steel in FO3

Here's the big question though: Why would they go across the country to do it? And into the old capital, which would most likely be heavily bombed out, or, if not, probably already picked clean? And why go, basically, on a rumor or myth? They saw the horrors of the war already. They sent...

    The Positive Thread

Let's... just not mention New Reno at all with regards to FO1/2 internal inconsistency. It's for the best. That sign there was cool... but really made no sense. Just like New Reno itself, really.

What combination of genre/setting would you prefer?

All things being equal? The iso game. But only because RT's been glutting the market for years and it's been YEARS since I've seen a bigger release with TB/Iso.

    PlayStation Universe interviews Pete Hines

My mistake on not getting his job right. That's pretty weird itself, but it's more understandable than Pete having, as his main job, the responsibility of cogently communicating what his company's doing with their games. Very, very odd that he's a paid PR guy.

Fallout 3. Is it really so bad?

Nope. If that was the case, why would the Fallout universe have the running out of petroleum products be such a big deal? If the alternatives existed, there wouldn't have been the war, annexation of Canada by the U.S., etc. The "Science!" factor comes in more from the pulp sci-fi ideas of...

    PlayStation Universe interviews Pete Hines

You should try to keep the two distinct in your mind. Pete's not exactly the best speaker, but he's quite a bit better than Todd. Though how both are PR guys I'll never know.

Fallout 3 at PAX: GayGamer and That VideoGame Blog

I'm sorry to do this, but I do have to mention this has been discussed to death and back. Nuclear power in Fallout is supposed to be a BIG BAD THING. This undermines the idea, severely. Additionally, the fact that the town was built in the crater of the unexploded bomb, and the fact that...

Huh. Well... You learn something new every day. I stand corrected. At least kinda. Uncertain canon and all that.

Fallout 3 at PAX: GayGamer and That VideoGame Blog

I'm not talking about backstory, I'm just asking for a little logic. The whole Megaton quest falls apart if you so much as look at it wrong, let alone if you ask a few questions about motive and so on. And please, don't bring up the "It's okay because it's fun" excuse. It's been dismissed...
