What happened to the Exodus RPG?

It's been a while since I posted but I figured that the NMA forums would be the best place to find out whats going on in Fallout. A few years ago Glutton Creeper Games released Exodus, the d20 Fallout RPG that had been so plagued with legal issues. Last I had heard anything about it, GCG had...

Fallout: New Vegas guide blog update, shots

I think I know what the pic titled "What is this I don't even" is and its an easy one. It looks exactly like the Enclave armor from Fallout 2 but with the glowing bits from the Fallout 3 Tesla armor. So perhaps its enclave tesla armor but based on the F2 design rather than the F3 design.

    Fallout: New Vegas faction profiles

At the very least, the Enclave actually has a reason for being in the region (unlike in F3). Probably survivors of the Navarro military base.

Fallout: New Vegas Con previews, #5

I think the major problem with Little Lamplight and the immortal children has nothing to do with the game mechanic (ie: you can't kill kids in game). The immortality issue relates to how the place has survived for 200 years following the war. There's no explaination about how they're replacing...

Fallout: New Vegas Con previews, #5

Thanks guys. I'm the one who wrote the Crispy Gamer piece. If I did nothing but blather on about how "amazing" and "wonderful" it was I don't think I'd ever be able to show my face around here again. Though it really was pretty good. Here's hoping the retail version lives up to the demo...

    Hello, old friend

Wow, that image leaves me speachless. I literally have nothing to bitch about at this time. Is this the fragile flower of optimism I feel in my chest???

    Feargus Urquhart interview on Gamasutra

Personally, I'd rather blame Oklahoma, but then that's just the opinion of this crazy Texan. I liked the interview but I would have liked it if he had mentioned one thing he didn't like about Fallout 3. I knew he wouldn't (why risk Obsidian's chances at doing another Fallout game after...

He has the face straps!!! ^_^ This just made my day, and I don't know if that's a sad thing or not.

    First XCOM screens

This has pissed me off more than anything. My 2 favorite series are Fallout and X-Com. And reading this article just made me angrier. If you compare this to what happened with Fallout 3, it actually makes what Bethesda did look good! Hell, at least Fallout 3 was 1) still an rpg of sorts, 2)...

    AVault Podcast featuring Chris Avellone

"Avault #1: I don't wanna get into the specifics of the game, but basically, what I've read about it is, Vegas is up and running right? I mean Vegas is there, right? It's not like, in fallout 3 you're walking around the wasteland and everything is just desolate but somehow Vegas is running...

OXM US Fallout: New Vegas preview scans

Yeah, that was a major concern of mine. While Obsidian has a pretty good track record as far as good writing and non-combat gameplay is involved, I was still really worried that Bethesda would worm its slimy fingers into the game design in some way. Sadly though, this one really doesn't tell...

OXM Podcast interviews Pete Hines on Fallout: New Vegas

Wow...just wow. That's up there with the lead developers of 4th ed D&D saying "if you use noncombat skills while playing D&D, you're playing the game wrong" (in reference to item crafting skills and the like). Cause god knows the way for a studio to go out of buisness fast is to appeal to...

Speculation Op-Ed: New Vegas and Tycho

Really, who? I noticed that they had Jorge "Oscuro" Salgado on there but he was a modder for Oblivion. I know Bethesda's producing it, but I didn't notice any names from there on the lists of developers for New Vegas.

Speculation Op-Ed: New Vegas and Tycho

Here's a thought. That's an NCR flag. 2-headed bear and it even says "New Californian Republic" So it's post Fallout at the earliest. If around the time of Fallout 2 at all, then it's been over 180 years since the war. Now forget Fallout 3. It ignored cannon and it was it's own thing. No one...

Bethesda v. Interplay: Now with more transcripts

And this folks is why I HATE copyright law. Ugh! I studied up on it a little a few years back. At the time I was interested in the issues regarding pdfs, digital distribution, and TSR/Hasbro. And it is really friggin vague in some spots. You have a cluster of laws designed in the precomputer...

Todd Howard at QuakeCon: Half of Fallout 3 got cut

Oh gods that actually makes sense now. Ok, lesson for the future, Don't let the marketing department design the damned game! Um...wasn't there a Dilbert cartoon that made essentially that same claim about marketing folks?? As for cutting out half the game....What...the...hell?? Who thought...

    Mothership Zeta released

I think this is a time for celebration. Why you may ask? Because this is the last bit of DLC expected for Fallout 3. Nothing else has been announced and I'm sure I read somewhere that this is the final one. Which makes sense considering that Bethesda allready announced their next big game...
