Is there any reason for this? Is Tabula Rasa really THAT bad? Well, besides its awkward name, of course... I wa sin the beta and it didn't seem like such a huge letdown to me.. it was just incredibly laggy and not very well balanced, or so it seemed. Molyneux is guilty of having no idea...

Well, it certainly shows that he has no idea what he is doing. Probably there is no urgent NEED to care for the number of textures or polygons... but if people like him WOULD care about such things, we'd face games that are a lot more playable by not-so-high-end computers....

Hmm.. I wonder why nobody looked for such things before. With Vampire:Bloodlines it didn't take 10 years until someone found not-implemented-but-available content.

A great modifiability and functioning, more-or-less-easy to use modding/SDK kits also help a lot when it comes to the longevity of a game. And Fallout 1 + 2 didn't even have those, which makes their longevity even more impressive.

If you mean the behaviour of this (and the Codex etc.) community by "it", then the answer will be: YES! But only in the beginning. At beginning there was a lot of crying and whining about how Beth would totally screw it up, etc. You know the story. This wouldn't have been the case if...

I think the most strange thing about that screen is that it isn't moving... yeah... sounds strange, eh? ;) But it makes the whole scene look totally incomplete. A video of this scene would improve this a lot, I'd guess. About the missing shadows... hm... strange, indeed.
