What I want to see implimented.

Making skills get a bonus from other skills is an ENORMOUSLY bad idea. It forces a player to invest into TWO skills. If I wanted a theft-centric character, I'd be pressured into wasting one of my tags into Sneak. Or a medic would be pressured into investing into Science... just unnecessary...

    FunFacts about Fallout Tactics

HK G11's never saw mass production irl though, whereas it was beginning to see usage in Fallout 2 prior to the War. As for the Desert Eagle- in my opinion, it's design in 1 and 2 is retrofuture to not stand out awkwardly. As for the FN FAL- it fits within the timeline, being designed in 1947...

Uh, he explicitly states going to space is his plan.

    Tell us your favourite protagonist

The thing is, I agree with the analysis of the Chosen One... he's no Vault Dweller, basically. But what IS iconic is his crew, man. The companions are some of the best parts of the game. They- with the Chosen One, are iconic. The Chosen One isn't the lone- or lightly assisted- man of...

Does this sound like an interesting character?

Is her katana folded over a million times?

How fallout 3 might actually be plausible.

Actually, on the subject of crops... The Hub is described as "Being surrounded by fields of crops". The area you explore doesn't show very much of the farms...

What do you think about the Pip-Boy 3000?

So then what are those inventory, speech, and character screens?

What do you think about the Pip-Boy 3000?

Why do you care? Well, anyways... I simply love the physical design. The 2000 is composed of some, what, 6 screens for various inventory/maps/character/speech management... it simply doesn't make sense how the Vault Dweller or Chosen One carry all those around. Now, the 3000 was excellent in...

A Fallout game set in Seattle?

Pfft, the Lucky 38 BLOWS compared to the Needle. Ugly, in fact. That being said: Seattle'd be great, given it's rich history of jazz (and other, more recent music), eternal rain, military importance (anti-submarine stations, stop on the way up to Anchorage, etc,) nuclear history, and the...

No option to convince Garl into giving up Tandi

That's a luck-related thing, requires a luck of 8 or something... my character can't accomplish that.

What do you think about the Pip-Boy 3000?

So did the 2000. That's not a fault, that's game mechanic.

Things that Fallout 3 did right!

Yeah, getting hit by a brahmin skull or a massive steel girder attached to a rope system was a pretty fucking great idea. Unfortunately, the traps rarely do substantial damage and the save/load system kind of destroys any legitimate caution the player might feel...

You know what's pretty silly about Fallout 3?

yeah, but not at the beginning of the game. thank level-independent enemies.

Things that Fallout 3 did right!

I'm almost partial to agreeing with lector- to a very small extent. There is a minority amongst this website, that cannot see *any* good in Fallout 3, to the point of taking a thread dedicated to the good parts of Fallout 3 and hijacking it into the UMPTEENTH hate thread... That being said...

Why The Master's Plan WOULD Work

The Master *is* a genius. Who's to say he wouldn't have set up a robust communication network in response to the Enclave's presence? Hell, even Metzger tried to listen into the Enclave. I have no doubts the Unity would match them, by grace of their leader...

What do you think about the Pip-Boy 3000?

Wait, wait. How is the Pip-Boy 3000 at all "consolitis" and why is the Pip-Boy 3000's inventory management bad?

Why The Master's Plan WOULD Work

Grimdark. Incredibly grimdark. I mean, endless warfare of the thousand-strong mutant army versus the Enclave? one hell of a setting.

    Thoughts on FO3 vaults?

In 3 and NV, there are a lot of blocked doors, hallways, etc... you don't see all of a Vault in these games either.

No option to convince Garl into giving up Tandi

Title says it all. Despite what the wiki says, I cannot threaten him into giving up Tandi. My speech skill is at 80%, above the minimum of 45% to have this speech option. I am playing on the Steam version of Fallout. What could be the problem?

What do you think about the Pip-Boy 3000?

Maybe the 3000 model was simply another model alongside the 2000. Standard issue weaponry varied in the second world war. The 3000 may simply be substitute standard. That being said, it makes sense to give to Vault Dwellers- particularly those in control vaults- to reinforce the belief...
