    DAC Hacked?

Looks like the hackers have been at DAC. At the time of writing, if you go to http://www.duckandcover.cx you get a white screen with H4ck3rsBr Group in the top left.

    More Critter Packs

Yeah, nice one, qwerty. Question, out of idle curiosity, if you're around: I remember that you can customise the characters' clothing/skin colour using the FoT editors. Do the character FRMs in your packs have mixtures of clothing and skin colours?

    Twilight War interview part 1

Hard to believe there's still a person alive who thinks the word 'extreme' will elicit anything but withering contempt.

    JE talks about fan feedback

As far as I can tell, the only thin ice he skated on was where he mentioned FOBOS. Even that was speculation: The bit about FOBOS being closer to FO than FoT. Hmm. Well that won't stand up in court. As for the rest of the post, well, it's about time someone said that to the Fallout...

    New VB Concept Art

True, that, Hory. :) Ah well. It's all academic anyway. I like the way they Chinese-water-torture us by leaking VB teasers bit by bit. Wouldn't be surprised if Herve was behind this, when he can get time out from pulling the legs off spiders. ;)

    New VB Concept Art

What, so someone else did Vault Tec's advertising for them? Either way, Vault Tec wouldn't have wanted a whiff of the experiment to get out.

    New VB Concept Art

Loving the art-work. But that Vault 69 poster is all wrong; Vault Tec wouldn't have tipped their hands before the bombs dropped by revealing that there was going to be something different about one of their Vaults. It goes against the whole idea of the dastardly Vault Tec experiement.

More Van Buren Info Comes Out

There's another way of looking at it, though. Very few of the core guys who were working on VB were core guys who worked on FO and FO2. The point being that you don't have to be hanging around the Interplay offices in order to have great Fallouty inspiration. I shall miss the input from a lot...

    CVG Talks to Pete

Does make you wonder how you'd tyre-iron SPECIAL into a FP style venture, though. I mean, how would you model low-value small guns, for instance - have the cursor wobble a bit as you try to aim? Perhaps I'm clutching at straws, but maybe it's not too much of a leap of faith to say that...

    Staying true to Fallout

That's a damn good point, actually. If we can wring a confession out of Bethesda that they're going with TB, it's fairly safe to assume from that that FP is out of the question, too.

Saint Proverbius talks on the situation

Cobblers. J. E. Sawyer did a great job of responding to flame and reason alike on the Iplay forums when there was life in the VB project.

Interplay announces Fallout 3 licensing deal with Bethesda

Woah... hold on. So - Jesus Christ! - OK. So have these boys decided on FP perspective yet, or is this just an estimate, based on their past work? But seriously - Jesus Christ! EDIT: Don't worry about it. Just re-read the news. Tense tense tense!

Bourgeoisie could really use a hand in graphics

Shame. This thing looks more promising then some of the upcoming commercial post-apoc offerings.

    IPLY stock hits new low

I agree. There was no guarantee that VB would have saved Herve's bacon, but it was the best shot he had. The FO RPGs are comparitively niche, as someone in the Dev profiles said, but with it half finished and coming from a Black Isle that was semi-worthy of the name (as opposed to Interplay...

    Chris Taylor talks about Fallout:Tactics

    No FOOL after all??

lol, I quite agree. :D He's like a dying beast lashing out and trying to do as much damage as he can before he goes down. We could spend all day trying to come up with different ways of desecrating the Fallout license, and he'd still top us.

    4 more screens from Bourgeoisie

Looking very nice. Nothing wrong with that engine that some crafty shading effects here and there can't put right.
