Hopefully they'll use the same "setting"/story. While dated to the extreme... I think if they fleshed it out it would work quite well. That's assuming they are remaking wasteland and not just making wasteland2 or wastelandPOS

I think this is a good idea (actually I like the idea of a d20 fallout in general). One suggestion though, Keep Canon and homebrew seperate at all times or give some indication of what things are "home brewed" only.
