The first Season of the Fallout tv show is out

Both, but I didn't care for Star Wars EU outside of basic stuff. I couldn't care less about Star Wars now.

My review of Fallout: the Series Season One 9/10

Be good guy or bad guy is a truly one of the choices of all time.

The soundtrack of New Vegas is S Tier

I'm replaying through the DLCs of New Vegas right now and just started Dead Money. Inon Zur absolutely cooked with this ambient track.

Why does Mr. House override Victor?

That's a good and acceptable point actually.

My review of Fallout: the Series Season One 9/10

I'll always have a place in my heart for Fallout 3. I'm sure most would disagree but I feel like it's the one and only game where Bethesda actually tried, though failed miserably and irreparably. Fallout 4 in comparison is the result of Bethesda not caring to try anymore.

What’s your ideal post-New Vegas game?

The Boneyard would be cool and it’s surprising we haven’t gotten something set there sooner than the show, which call it Shady Sands. Perhaps if Bethesda’s original plans of making a West Coast sequel were realized over Washington D.C. we’d have gotten a game set in L.A. sooner than the show...

Why does Mr. House override Victor?

Preserving Victory as an agent is weird considering he can transfer his AI subroutine to other Securitrons like Yes Man, unless Mr. House is trying to save some money and a Securitron unit. Though if that were the case Mr. House would seem like he doesn’t have faith in his force’s ability to...

The first Season of the Fallout tv show is out

I’m glad he decided against this. It’s too tropey, a former good cop gone evil and would’ve been a hell of a stretch. Besides I doubt the guy who almost killed Johnny Boy in the MFP station for raping that one girl in Mad Max 1 would be okay with running a gang of rapists in Road Warrior.

What’s your ideal post-New Vegas game?

A lot of people who write fan fiction whether on paper or in their heads come up with Fallout games set before New Vegas, probably because there’s massive gaps in time to fill in that also allows for more post-apocalyptic storytelling over post-post-apocalyptic like New Vegas, but also probably...

The first Season of the Fallout tv show is out

Correct me if I’m wrong but it was Beyond Thunder Dome and Fury Road that introduced things like Master/Blaster, two headed lizards, tribals, nuked Sydney as you said, and the irradiated water. I think it’s fair that the nuking of the world be moved up, but in terms of what we’re shown with the...

The first Season of the Fallout tv show is out

It was George Miller’s original intent, but according to the wiki, it’s since been retconned in a Fury Road comic to take place shortly after Mad Max 1. Though I’m not sure whether to trust a comic over the creator.

Why does Mr. House override Victor?

In Ghost Town Gunfight, the Courier can recruit Victor to help defend Goodsprings from the Power Gangers. When the fight comes to pass however, he is given an override code forcing him into stasis. Why did House do this?

The first Season of the Fallout tv show is out

Mad Max 1 was during societal collapse with the Main Force Patrol acting as the last vestige of law and order. The second movie is set after societal collapse and into the apocalypse. The third movie is set after a nuclear holocaust that occurs after the second movie.

The Original Fallout Games Deserve The Diablo 2: Resurrected Treatment

A Fallout remaster is a bit impossible in my opinion because a lot of the charm of the game comes from its aesthetics which would undoubtedly be altered. For every soyface I might make at Tycho wearing Desert Ranger armor for example, there will be worse changes such as making the talking heads...

My review of Fallout: the Series Season One 9/10

Fair, I don't know about the original Gamebryo engine. But it's still a skill issue on Bethesda's engine nonetheless. And actually now that I take into account that it's Bethesda's tweaked version of the engine it makes a lot more sense. Bethesda didn't WANT any major cities for Fallout 3. They...

My review of Fallout: the Series Season One 9/10

If I remember correctly, Divinity II used Gamebryo as well, though I'm not sure how it compares to Fallout.

My review of Fallout: the Series Season One 9/10

Honestly that's just a skill issue on Gamebryo's end. There were a lot of games released at the time that could simulate large world spaces fairly well.

My review of Fallout: the Series Season One 9/10

Ah, I don't mean real life scaled, but perhaps as Norzan brings up, in an engine that allows for cities to feel big such as Witcher or your idea of multiple large cells interconnected on an overworld map. I have mods on my New Vegas modlist that opens and populated Freeside, The Strip, as well...
