Man, back in the day a buddy had a normal good computer and very outdated one in his wardrobe, like a 133 MHz Pentium or something. We'd play Duke 3D, Doom, Heretic, and Diablo over LAN there. Fuckin' awesome. I'm down for some Duke or Heretic multiplayer.

It's pretty impressive how fast they got that stuff to this stage. The brunt of the work is in the later levels, but still, it's a huge step that they got the game more stable since the leak and the editor running.

Trust in the democratic process is low. Sadly, the only thing done to alleviate that is to proclaim that it's all because of Nazi propaganda, and that you should absolutely trust the process (unless the bad people win, then it's fraud and the fight needs to be taken to the streets).

Absolutely. I feel like graphics from up to the PS1 era aged better than what came afterward. Should treat the artwork more as art, and not just a depiction. Reduce, minimise, downscale, stylise. Make games look shit again.

I like the trend in indie games to focus more on stylised instead of realistic graphics. Tends to make things easier and let's the developers focus on story and polish of gameplay. Boomer shooters are already doing it, now let's hope RPGs get there fast, too.

I haven't played CP77 yet, but I think what stings a bit is that it's CDPR, the supposed good guys of developer/publisher, with their whole "no DRM, free updates" stuff, being like this.
