Maybe I just don’t understand enough about viruses, but I mean that the FEV, once it infects a cell, ceases to exist as FEV, just as the cell’s original DNA ceases to exist because it’s been modified so heavily by the FEV. Does that make sense? I don’t know.

I’m not sure if it works quite like this. The FEV isn’t just an ordinary virus, it has kind of a symbiotic relationship with the cells it infects. The DNA of the cells affect how the FEV mutates them, and when the cells reproduce, the result would be a mash up of FEV and DNA. I don’t think you...
