I have a wide-screen monitor which starts emitting hissing (squealing?) sounds when I start FOT. This has never happened in any other game, even in FO1. What the hell, is my monitor going to explode or something? :evil:

Well, I played the game once, that was enough for me. I didn't quite pick up the role of GECK in the plot. Why GECK and not the Water Chip (which makes more sense)? I mean, this is just one of many things I feel are unexplained at all. But this is the only one I care about to ask here.

What's the difference between FRMs that are animated by themselves such as the Burning Barrel and those that need a script for animation such as Steam?

I tried every FRM converter out there and each one of them exhibits the same behavior - they increase original image's brightness during conversion to FRM. Of course, every image had Fallout color palette applied before conversion. Am I doing something wrong here?

I'm trying to synchronize critter sound files with critter animations but the process is painfully slow. Does anyone have a list of correlation between sound filename codes and animation filenames?
