    Courier Names

I'm thinking back to all the times I read "Six" and assumed it was the number...I think I played myself on this one lmao

Let's discuss Dead Money. Was it that bad?

I love the atmosphere so much. There is not a single paranormal element to the story, and yet, it all feels so haunted...like some kind of higher power is at play.

    Courier Names

Six, just Six. I imagine the courier wouldn't remember their name.

Introduce yourself! AKA the "Say hello" thread

Ah, here it is. Hello, I've made a few posts already and I have absolutely nothing meaningful to say at the moment but I wanted to be polite and introduce myself. I hope this counts!

Lore Reason for the Luck of the Protagonist and their Capabilities

This made me imagine the Overseer just continuously sending residents out one by one until they return with the water chip.

Lore Reason for the Luck of the Protagonist and their Capabilities

The "luck" is character build dependent. Play a character with 1 strength and 1 endurance and don't level combat skills and you will find your answers.

What does NMA think of Breath of the Wild?

I'm really curious what people think of this game. This game is the exact opposite of Fallout in a lot of regards but I think it did a lot right and it just as fun. It's also technically post-apocalyptic! So what are your thoughts?

    Fallout 4: A Generational Gem

LMAO I'm stealing this as my signature

Was there any point to your character being from pre-war times?

I wonder what sort of person would be the type to view pre war America the way the MC does in Fallout 4.

    Fallout 4: A Generational Gem

Fallout 4's gameplay was designed around being in the role of a scavenger/farmer/merchant/raider and I think that's pretty reasonable, especially since some of these roles get a surprising lack of attention in other games in the series. Personally speaking, I did not pick up the post nuclear...

Was there any point to your character being from pre-war times?

Same reason you came from a vault in Fallout 1 and Fallout 3. To help first time players immerse themselves into the world. Sure, pre-war Fallout is very dissimilar to modern day first world countries, but they still took showers every day and ate proper food. It's definitely under utilized but...

    Fallout 4: A Generational Gem

Lore, story, and characters aside these are post-apocalyptic games we were drawn too, at least I was, because of wanting to experience the setting. I didn't look at Fallout NV and go "Oh boy! This looks like it's going to have great ideological discussion and thought provoking choices!" I...

    Favorite Fallout New Vegas Quest?

"Wang Dang Atomic Tango" It's hard for me to describe all the little things I like about this one. For starters the concept and execution is just funny. From F.I.S.T.O. to even Mick and Ralph catching ear there are so many hilarious surprises. Beatrix's reaction is priceless too. Second, I...

    Favorite Vendor?

I like the Brotherhood of Steel vendor. That entire bunker stands out as a little high-level haven in an otherwise dead economic area. Add that to its location next to Scorpion Gulch and it's a non-fast travelers paradise.

    Evil Playthrough Ideas?

I don't know the ins and outs of the game very well but would it be possible to create an evil asshole that everyone loves? The kind of guy that kills the squad they were supposed to rescue and reports back that they couldn't be saved in time? "Mojave Psycho" if you will? Not nearly as...
