On the first level (entry level), check the room to the southeast. There's a small jar with the gel in it.

Patches are always good and make things better, unless they're from Microsoft, in which case they will just screw everything up even more. But yeah, Fallout + patches = better Fallout.

Agreed, I just started Fallout 2 over again. The music just fits in the game. By the way, who MADE the music anyway? Interplay themselves? Because they did a great job on Vault City, Modoc and The Den, captures the feeling of those places perfectly...

That was my hobby in Fallout 2, new Reno. Stole a loaded C4 onto Mr. Bishop, watch him goooooOOo! :twisted: Also, drugging Dogmeat was fun too, but I'm leaving the subject. Satchels are useless in the game, since no Enemy ever uses a crate or such. Never tried the alarms, or planting it...
