Five Lessons Fallout 4 Can Learn From Skyrim

I can't say what others think, but as far as I'm concerned, Fallout 3 is just a bad dream, Skyrim is just Oblivion with a different graphics engine. I know it might sound a bit extreme, but until I see a decent storyline (with an appropriate main quest), acceptable AI, more repercussions of my...

    Afterfall: InSanity NMA preview

Tagaziel, I liked your(p)review, so I downloaded and tried the demo. I have to say, I expected something much worse, probably because my opinion was based on negative rumors... Then again, the slow installation didn't get me in a good mood, but once I tried the game itself it seemed decent...

Five Lessons Fallout 4 Can Learn From Skyrim

Honestly, I can hardly remember, I haven't posted in a long time.... I just found it there. If you feel it misrepresents you, I can remove it.

Five Lessons Fallout 4 Can Learn From Skyrim

What I don't understand is: does IGN recruit its reviewers/writers/whatever at bus stops and tells them what to write or do these people receive a paycheck for each article from gaming studios?

so what if Interplay wins back the Fallout ip?

Yeah that's too bad that Anderson left inXile... Also, the idea of Troika doing Fallout would have been thrilling, if it wasn't for the bugginess of their games (don't get me wrong, those are among my fav games ever, even with all their bugs). I don't know, it's weird 'cause the guys at...

    Bethesda: actually, Fallout is ours

As much as I hate the Caens for destroying Interplay, they are rebuilding it now (are they, right?), I'd rather see them get the license back. Bethesda is also completely different from what it was back in the day (aaaah, Daggerfall...). But, honestly? Who cares, I just hope inXile does some...

Interplay: Fallout 6 could be ours

Skyrim engine sucks anyway, so who cares? Btw, anyone better than bethesda, even an independent developer studio from Uganda, to do the next Fallouts.

    Time, what is time?

Actually, I agree on the fact FO:NW should take place several decades after FO2, but I'd like to see some NPCs from the previous game, gives a feeling of coherence to the whole universe... Like seeing Harold and Tandy in FO2, you know?

    Fallout 3 is derivative

^ exactly! The replay value of FO3, instead, is very low, for me... The fact that the main quest was so railroaded and ill written killed all my enthusiasm for the game (which I had nurtured constantly and patiently, because the game didn't manage to generate any spontaneously). Again, I...

    Fallout 3 is derivative

Wait a minute, Mak... replay value is totally different from addictiveness, right? Just asking to make sure we're talking about the same thing...

    Fallout 3 is derivative

True, addictiveness doesn't necessarily mean quality. Also the many similarities FO3 shares with Oblivion are a mere deterrent from liking it for me, while to many others it's a plus... I just don't get it.

    Impressions thread for negative impressions

Re: Just finished...What a waste of time. Liar liar, your pants are on fire... You did finish the game right? NO WAY you can consider it an open ended affair, it always end the same way! First part, unpolite; second part, kill all consoles, they have destroyed the quality of videogames...

    Fallout 3 is derivative

Sebastiano: you're right IMO, FO3 is derivative in a sense that Bethesda made a product that looks like Fallout on the outside, but with shiny graphics, shallow plot and plain stupid game mechanics; they thought they could lure console kiddies into buying Fallout only by changing drastically its...

    Is that for Real?!

Wasn't it Eki-eki-eki P-tang Zoo Boing? Besides, Chtulu would be fun, considering it's strange pronunciation.

    DOA the movie!

Yes, you're right, my bad. :D Though you have to admit that with all the crappy movies coming out each season we can assume the worst.

    DOA the movie!

Just wait till Bethesda sells the rights for a Fallout movie to Uwe Balls. Brr.

    Anyone seen this?

I actually enjoyed some of the books, though they are pretty childish (does this syllogism make me childish? As a matter of fact, I think I am.) and it took me about two-three afternoons to read each book. Meh, who cares anyway.
