    Fallen Earth reviews

Fallen Earth is a bit older then Fallout 3. Even considered vaporware for a while if I recall correctly. Anyways, for those that care, I have been playing since launch and I think it is a good MMO. It is not afraid of trying something new. A very solid crafting system coupled with a very...

Book of Eli PA movie trailer

Oh dear... In what connection have I heard the "You cant judge it on the trailer/preview" argument before? Hmmm...

Point Lookout press release, screenshots, trailer

Wow, inbred, mutated hillbillies in Bethesdas new Swamp location. Color me surprised. No really! I am! Just about as surprised that, at closer inspection, the ocean turned out to be wet. But seriously, who didn't see this coming a mile away when they first announced that it was in a swamp...

Fallout 3 Broken Steel Review Roundup

And here I thought it was a clever jab at the new Dogmeat Puppies. Guess I might be to cynical for my own good. Sometimes cute puppies, are just cute puppies, I guess. :)

Fallout 3 Broken Steel Is Out

Well, I didn't think it was possible, but these new perks are even more uninspiring and dull then their previous ones (not to mention some being outright retarded, moars nukuler splosions hur hur). Sigh...

Fallout 3 Broken Steel Screenshots and Previews

Hmm, looks like you can shoot down Vertibirds now. If Im not totally spacing, Vertibirds were invulnerable before, right? And this one in the picture is on fire it seems? Oh well, wont make the game good, but one could see it as for each DLC released, the modders get more raw material to...

    Fallout 3 The Pitt Previews

So, errh... So if I understood this right, they produce large enough quantities of steel to need a host of slaves to keep up with demand. Then begs the question, who in blazes are they selling it to? Or is there something from Van Buren that explains the need for steel in such large quantities...

    Re-creating Fallout 1?

I dont know if its been mentioned or if its old news, but I stumbled over this: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3157 in another thread. Would be perfect for Fallout 1 remake. Now if someone only got turnbased working :) .

    Fallout 3 reviews round-up #97

I think one of the reasons it gets such glowing reviews is that 95% of them haven't even played 20% of the game before they "review" it (yay for guesstimated statistics). They haven't repeated the subways ad nauseum, haven't bumped into the plethora of retarded design decisions and bugs. And...

F3C - Fixing the Main Quest, a Discussion

I dont know if this suggestion has been brought up, but I wouldn't mind a main story about the nuke in Megaton. I mean, its a nuke. A nuke... The factions should be all over that like white on rice. It just doesn't makes sense why they all ignore it and go about twiddling their thumbs all day...

Padding out The Power Of The Atom

You guys are thinking to small. I mean, come on! The most powerful weapon in mankinds arsenal, bar none, is sittin' in a friggen puddle in a shithole of a town, with NONE of the factions showing even a slightest interest in it? I mean, where is this? Bizarro world? You could create an entire...

    Fallout 3: Quests

My problem with The Power of the Atom quest is in part what Patton89 mentioned. Why would powerful factions like the Brotherhood, Enclave or even the supermutants, just leave such incredibly powerful weapon alone, sitting in a puddle of water, in a shithole of a town? I mean, damnit, you...

Fallout 3 patched on the PS3

Patches arent part of what Bethesda "does well". :P

    Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage Unveiled

And in being Bethesda, they will have no sense of scale, or the mental fortitude to fit the scenario to the limitations of their engine. Case in point : Anyone else remember in Oblivion (those few that lasted that long pre-mods), when you traveled the entire continent, gathering the armies of...

I laughed. Then I cried. Then I laughed some more.

    Fallout 3 - Wasteland Dancin'

Wow, thats an awesome vid. I always thought that it musta been some kinda wierd engine limitation that restricted the animations while talking to people. That was the only sensible reason I could think why anyone would have such stiff lifeless characters that only hade a single repeating...

Bethesda Softworks Announces Creation Kit and DLC

The amount of work necessary to mod Fallout 3 into any kind of game even resembling the originals is just titanic. You would basically have to strip out everything and restart from scratch, while perhaps being able to keep most of the 3D models, textures, and some of the side quests...
