Brotherhood of Steel Speculation (Minor Spoilers)

The planes weren't build by the NCR, they clearly were pre war planes in this airport, which was converted into a conventional military base.

Map of United States by College Degrees...

It is normal that in the state capitals you should have the educated population, while in the interior the population is not well educated. That's because the kind of jobs in small towns aren't the kind that requires fancy degrees.

Things you *aren't* pleased to see

Some problems I found when playing F:NV: - Your SPECIAL stats doesn't have the radical impact that they had in Fallout 1 and 2. For example, strenght only increases your weight carrying capability to 10 pounds for every point taken, over a base value of 200 (5%). In F1 and 2 it increased...

The respective positions of the NCR and the Legion's western holdings can be show in this expertly draw map ( ) The territory under dispute is the green circle of land there and the hoover dam, with is the black square there.

What will be the canon ending of New Vegas?

The canon ending I think would be the Ms. House ending, where he becomes the ruler of New Vegas and surrounding lands and is in a tense alliance with the NCR. However, he doesn't present a large threat to the Legion or the NCR because his few hundred robots don't consist in a very large force...

Fallout: New Vegas outsells Fallout 3, PS3 fix released

Not... In the game they stated that they conquered 86 tribes, their forces in Mojave were only a small tip of their empire. The Legion was basically a huge empire of conquered tribals. The NCR also held california, for both nations the outcome of their dispute in New Vegas had limited...

Fallout: New Vegas outsells Fallout 3, PS3 fix released

Some remnants? In the non-Caesar ending, The Caesars legion only lost a battle in F:NV, with meant that they wouldn't control New Vegas and surrouding lands. There is no reason that they should be reduced to "remnants". Also, they still control the other side of the Colorado river, and...

The Power Armor dilemma in New Vegas

It is not abudant like in F3, but it is not as rare as in F1 and F2, where you couldn't get PA from death soldiers on the floor. If you could get PA in F1 and F2 from death soldiers on the floor you could get PA from killing the guards in front of the BOS base.

The Power Armor dilemma in New Vegas

I remember that the first time that I beat F2 I used a walkthrough to get the pa right at the beginning. Combat only became challeging in the endgame. The pa training was invented because since pa in the modern fallouts (3 and NV) degrade quickly, they are abundant, so you need to have...

    Safe house

Supply dump? I didn't use anything to house my items, even pack mules. I only used my own inventory. Sold everything that wasn't really usefull.

enough skill points to make all rounder but not mediocre?

Re: enough skill points to make all rounder but not mediocre You also have the tag extra skill perk, that's another 15 points. Anway, if you have 33 skill points in every skills, you would still need 871 skill points to max out all skills. In F3 you could max out every skill?

The Power Armor dilemma in New Vegas

I only got power armor very late in the game, around level 24-25. They are much better than F3 pa, also, they last longer at 100% efficiency. Take the enclave quest to get the pa, it is quicker than the BS quest and also gives you a suit with 28 dt in perfect conditions. You can get this...

Your Thoughts: Strip, Mr. House *WARNING: MASSIVE SPOILERS*

Well: [spoiler:b6745ef3aa]Killed him at level 12? I killed him at level 21! Well, first I killed Mister House, then, returned to my saved game, because I lost karma, so I only deactivated his interface, thinking that my karma loss would be cancelled. However, I lost karma the same way, so I...

    @ Hardcore Fallout 1&2 Fan

I have played about 15 hours of FNV. I would say that this game is more like a first person version of F2, with a more realistic world.

Fallout: New Vegas reviews roundup #5

It was expected that F:NV got worse review scores than Falllout 3. That's for several reasons, including: * Fallout 3 had better graphics for it's time (the same graphics 2 years ago). * Fallout 3 was the "innovative game". New Vegas is just an "expansion". * Fallout 3 had more cool and...

    Robots

I always tend to advance too fast. Managed to finish F3 without maxing my level. Also, In F3 there is level scaling? I though that you didn't fell the leveling because it was basically a shooter, where stats didn't matter.
