    Who are all you people?

After i saw Kotaku's expose on NMA and the sheer amount of Fallout 3 hate that exsited here, i had to come check it out. I intially had it in mind to come here and tell you all how wrong you were and that F3 was a great game, but insteadI chose to listen to what was said. I came to the...

Things that Fallout 3 did right!

Honestly, i think Beth did quite a few things right with fallout 3. Before coming to NMA i had no idea how hated this game really was. Most of the arguments against it are quite valid, but it is a game i enjoy and still play regularly. Although dated, even when it came out, i really like the art...

    Fallout 4’s Character System

Well if vault 101 is any indication on Beths tutorial phases we only saw a snippet of the pre war part. Its certainly possible the you could assign your traits in another part of it. Chances are, more goes on between character creation and the exodus to the vault than we have seen. It is albeit...

    Fallout 4’s Character System

Are we all so sure that traits will not be returning? I have yet to see anything that aknowledges the exsistance or lack thereof. Correct me if im wrong but you must just be assuming because you haven't heard or seen them come up that they aren't present in the game, no?

Possible Currencies for After the End

Fair enough, i agree currency is not the right word. Flint is another thing that would fit well in this category of traded good. I can just see these things being quite valuable in a post apocalyptic setting.

    What was your first RPG?

My first was Pokemon Gold version for the gameboy color. Which imo is the best overall pokemon game that has ever been released. (Along with its remake) I will remember that game for the rest of my life for not only introducing me to the genre, but giving me a reason to believe that you can...

Fallout Shelter out now on Android

Overall, for a mobile game i find it quite entertaining. The level of detail as compared to other mobile games i've played recently is unprecedented and on top of that its free and has no pay walls. Sure purchasing more lunchboxes would be beneficial, but there is enough oppurtunity to win them...

Possible Currencies for After the End

Im not sure if it has been said yet, but i think that tools such as matches or lighters would be an interesting form of currency. If you think about it fire is one of the most important resources around. Everyone needs it, everyone uses it. You could trade matches for goods, and lighters would...

    Gamescom Fallout 4 Impressions

After playing Rage, I understood what Bethesda was doing with Id. That game was one of the most fluid shooters i have ever played. While the story was extremely lacking, the gameplay itself was phenominal. From what i've seen they've tried to implement as much as the can from that games...

Places you'd like to see a Fallout game take place

Detroit is a place that i have long believed would be a great Fallout location. Of course im biased becuase i live here, but there are sooooooooo many ways in which this locale could be used. First of all I'd have to say there are a lot of misconceptions about Detriot as it is today. Sure there...

Fallout 4: Does anyone else find the pre-war opening contrived?

"YOU FUCKING WHAT?" :ok: Exactly lol. There is no one forcing you to be happily married. Albeit from the footage they're lovey dovey in the mirror. I just hope they give you some way to develop a real relationshipwith your npc family instead of it just being a glorified tutorial.

Fallout 4: Does anyone else find the pre-war opening contrived?

Personally, im hoping that the pre-war sequence is a bit fleshed out. Say you go with your wife/husband to the vfw hall and you have an option to cheat with someone there. Or dialogue that voices your disgruntled attitude towards your love life, ptsd issues, or even trouble adjusting to...

Fallout 4 coming out on November 10, free mobile spin-off out now

Suppose the pre-war sequence starts years before the bombs fell. it would give you a chance to grow some sort of attachment to your npc spouse and baby and even potentially the pre-war world (maybe pre-war free roam??) Doubtful, it probably just jumps from year to year until the bombs fall...
