A d20-based Post-Apocalyptic Pen-N'-Paper RPG

    So, in light of NMA trying to make it's own PnP RPG, I decided to throw out an idea for how it should be structured; that being a system based loosely on the d20 system used in D&D Fifth Edition.

    To that end, I've decided to start writing my own d20-based system. If anyone has any input, I'd be glad to take it. In the mean time, here's what I've finished so far;

    ABILITY SCORES AND SKILLS
    You have 37 points to distribute between the seven SPECIAL stats. No stat can go lower than 1 and no stat can go higher than 10 without special buffs (like chems.)

    MODIFIER TABLE:
    1 = -4
    2 = -3
    3 = -2
    4 = -1
    5 = +0
    6 = +1
    7 = +1
    8 = +2
    9 = +2
    10 = +3

    Insight
    Investigation
    Navigation

    ENDurance
    Survival

    Next up, I need to write basic rules for gameplay as well as character creation. If anyone has any ideas, let me know. Since it's a reverse engineered version of DnD 5E, the gameplay rules will probably be very similar, but I kind of want to do something a bit more interesting with the SPECIAL system (for example, maybe your END score determines your hit dice instead of your class?)
