Interplay very well could be listining to the fans... unfortuatly the fans aren't us. The fans are the same demographic that make shows like American idol and pop stars like Eminem popular. Lil' kids! Kids between the ages of 12 and 15 are what make things sell. They decide the styles and the billboard charts. They are the main buyers of Crapola! What video games lack in sales they make up for in rentals. Kids don't want to rent an RPG that takes a month to play, they want to rent a game that they can easliy beat in 3 to 5 days. I watch these items of crap jump off the shelves at the store everyday. PSX2 baldur's gate does very well in rentals, as do any sports games. Anything fast that doesn't take large amounts of thinking. My theory is that all children now have ADD from drinking too much soda and eating nothing but fast food. The POS fallout is nothing but a bi-product. Games made for kids by kids. Welcome to the nickolodeon generation.
