I have never posted on this form before and wasn't sure if this counted as referencing gameplay. It seems like the other channel is for gameplay help or bug issues. I just wanted to share that I have finally beaten this game on Very-Hard/Hardcore mode, level 1-50, discovering and clearing all locations, without dying a single time! Throughout the years I've owned this game I grew from a pre-pubescent kid to an adult, and I've been trying to do this off and on the entire time. Everytime I found some sort of glitch or cheap strategy to assist me in completing the challenge, I would go into the G.E.C.K. and modify the game to change it. I have tried just about every build possible and right around the time I'm finishing my mod I finally was able to do this! Many times dying to random traps, the Dead Money collar, or random abominations like deathclaws instantly killing me, sometimes enemies with explosive weapons too. The mod/rebalance I created for myself certainly makes the game a lot harder, as it removes a lot of the cheap things in the game, like courier's stash items, destroying the economy by breaking the bank at casinos as well as many locations with strong loot that are too easy to get to. It also revamps the barter system and speech checks to make the game a lot less easy to powergame in. For example, I went in and manually removed the checks from each piece of dialogue, along with whether you fail or succeeded. I felt this reminded me more of the old fallout games. I really don't know anyone else who plays this game, so I just felt like sharing it among other people who love it!

I did this when I did my Duke Nukem Lost in New Vegas playthrough up to a certain point but then all the mods got too crazy and I died once and just said fuck it. Now I played FNV so much I can never play it again. Glad to see a new face enjoying decent games though!

    1. Congrats. I cannot count how many times I died in Fallout. You can play flawless only after approx. level 30 without problems.
    2. I played hardcore (the most hard mode) from the begin in all F3, otherwise there is really no interest.
