Raven Software example

On their message boards (www.ravensoft.com, I believe) they made a message appear NOT in the forum selection page, but at the very top of message board page itself! This way, while lamers wait until page loads up, they are supposed to read 'all these red letters' and ponder about it.

Maybe that will be more effective.
