how do i change the ending

Ok i beat fallout 2 now. I saw the part where it shows u what happened to the various cities. It says that Vault City took over Gecko by force. How do i stop this? Also it says that Broken Hills ran out of Uranium and perished. How do i stop this? Also it talks about me killing all the deathclaws. never happend. That dumb Frank Horrigan freak did it. How do i stop the game from pinning it on me? any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Repair the reactor but don't optimise it.

Well if you blow the mine up yourself you don't get that ending. But there is no real 'good' ending for broken hills.

that always happens, unless you finish the game within two weeks of fixing their computer or something. Just kill all the deathclaws since you're going to get that ending anyway, and you get lots of experience and negative karma for it.

I just managed to finish a game and not have the "accusation" that I killed off all the deathclaws.

When I got to Vault 13 I went through it and finished all quests and picked up all items.

Then I asked Goris to join and immediately dropped him from the party (no idea if this is important, but I'm mentioning it just in case). I had a vague idea he might be able to "defend" the Vault.

Then I went on my merry way. I didn't get back to Vault 13 until *after* finishing the game. This way, I had an ending with no mention of the deathclaw genocide.

Note 1: The deathclaws were killed anyway, the only thing is that I didn't get accused of it.

Note 2: The character was hacked (I wanted to try out *all* the quests that were not mutually exclusive). I don't think it's relevant, however.
