lvl 13 character dies when i leave san fran!!
On my way back to san fran after getting the virta bird plans i was attacked and i recived a large dose of radiaton...when i gave the guy in San Fran the plans and went inside to the brother hood computer,and told it i had recived a large dose of radiaton it only seemed to worsen matters! Now whenever i try to leave the city i die...i have plenty of money but i'm guessing i can't buy any rad away in san fran...and i die of radiaton before i can get to any city...Does the machine at the brotherhood really help? Do i need to re start fallout 2? my character is level 13...hope not...adivce anyone?

I'm not sure if the brotherhood computer can remove your radiation, but you can indeed buy RadAway from one of the dealers - if not both. The guy on the left side (next to the brotherhood building) deals a lot of chems and such, so he's your #1 bet. If he doesn't have any on him, remember to look at all the three tables too. And remember, don't just use them all at once - take one, then rest, and take another one. It's amazing how much Rads they can dispose when given a bit of time.
