permanent stats increase from jet use

well now, i did some expermneting with jet and the antitidote and was able to permanently boost my stats to 10 strength from 2 and 9 perception to 10 perception, and also getting 18 APs from it.

so it goes like this, take 2 hits of jet, use 1 jet antidote, 2
hits 1 jet antidote, until you get 10, then take a bunch of antidote, then take more jet, rest, let your stats go down, repeat. thats the jist of how i did it.

am i the only one whose done this?

Mostly likely you would be, because most don't cheat - and that's what it sounds like to me. I'm willing to take my words back if you provide me with a reasonable explanation about your infinite source of Jet Antidote. Because as far as I know, you can't get more than 2 bottles of it (and sparing 1 is a good idea if you want to do a certain quest). According to your instructions, we'd need at least 3 bottles, and if repeating was necessary, who knows how many.

The jet antidode can be used multiple times, not once then discard.

This is probably one of the oldest trick in the book, maybe newbies into fallout recently wont know, but im sure the rest who've played the game so many times they've lost count know all the tricks in the book.

yes due to some programming error you can use the same jet antidote multiple times. just try it.

i dont i guess ill just drop it because there is no saved game way to prove it. you would only be able to prove it yourself through your own playing, or watch a video of me playing.

and neither seems like much fun.

Couple of things...

How do you use the jet antidote more than once?

I have tried this by taking jet twice, then the antidote, them much later I lose my stats. How did you permenantly keep them?

BTW. There are more than two bottles in the game. The merchants on the ship in San Francisco will sometimes sell jet antidote.

every time i take a hit of the jet antidote one at a time not consecuitively i dont lose a dose. so if i take one hit of jet antidote and i have 5 antidotes i still have 5. i think theres an error in my game but it is the US patched version.

to do it you have to repeat this many times till you get till ten. jsut sleep it off and then take more hits. eventually you will have permanent stats increase.


also try taking it even if you get to ten. even if it says nothing.

Uh... Please, forgive me. I have finished the game four times (fifth time underway right now), but I have never used drugs. Sure, I've tried 'em, but I usually just reload. Sometimes I used 'em only so I don't get addicted, in order to finish a quest. So I was a bit too hasty to condemn you as a cheater, because I never actually USED the jet antidote, and I ASSUMED that it would function as any other item in the game - that it would disappear after use. Also, I did not know that the tanker vagrants sold it. Well, here we have a new interesting "feature" then, eh? :-)
