Risewild submitted a new resource:

FO2 Setting Improvement Mod - Replaces Temple of Trials with a path, edits Arroyo, changes coins to bottlecaps and more.

Made and originally uploaded by Human Shield.

Current Changes:

Replaces gold coins with beautiful, beautiful caps.

Changes some silly Easter Eggs, now more useful.

Replaces Temple of Trials with short path.

Lots of new Arroyo dialogue, better reason for getting GECK.

Altered Arroyo maps.

New Navarro dialogue.

Enclave in NAVARRO no longer hands out plasma rifle and Adv. Power Armor to new recruits (great policy guys). Now they hand out yellow key pass for uniform. Enclave in...

I don't think bottlecaps make much sense in the Fo2 setting. I could understand if the northern part uses a different currency than NCR dollar (at least partly), but completely replacing them is wrong, imo.

It's not my mod. I just re-uploaded because it is very hard to find a download link that works.

I will be uploading more NMA download files that were on the now extinct AtomicGamer site.

Thanks, it was never uploaded to NMA so I didn't have it in the giant archive from the AtomicGamer site. I will upload the V3.

Some files from patch000 merged into mod where able.

Extract using folder names to your Fallout 2 folder.

Rename PATCH000.dat to something else or mod will not work.
