XL70E3 gun

Does it just exist? There's a pic of it and all in this site, but I spent hours looking for it with no result. A beta weapon not added? Thanks for any reply!

It does exist in the game, but it's very rare. One place to get it is from the tanker vagrants in San Fran, but if memory serves me correctly, you'll have to kill the owner of it to get it (ie you can't steal it). And this will result into a bloodbath, in which you'll exterminate each and every one of them.

You could try planting dynamite on the owner of the gun - the only problem is that I don't which one of them has it. Good Luck! :-)

You can also find some on a caravan located around San Fran. The caravan master has some for sale. It is, if i remember correctly, a caravan whose guards have combat armor and the caravan master looks like one of the Dunton bros. But as stated above it is a very rare gun and finding that caravan may take a long time.

I killed every merchant in Frisco (those in the boat, those in town), I even met with the special merchant several times (the one that looks like a Dunton, surrounded with guys in combat armor). But all he has for sale is some .223 ammo, some rocket-launcher ammo, fruits, alcohol, and money...no XL70E3...does he have the gun all the time, or is there just a small chance that he has it?

Just wondering, did you install the patch? (I didn't) Also, do you have the US version? I hope it's not a stupid bug with my french version anyway...

You CAN get it from the merchant in the random encounter, but it's VERY rare (i've only found it once from that merchant). It took me ages to get it from him. And the girl on the ship with the gun is the black leather green hair punker.
