Great movie review site

I found a great scifi and fantasy movie review site. Here is the link http://www.scifimoviepage.com

They concentrate on scifi and fantasy movies (otoh you can debate if Indiana Jones 4 falls in those categories). Anyway, they have a big database for movies, both that still run in theatres and those that are already released on DVD.

They are honest, brutally honest from time to time. But i found them to be spot on for Resident evil 3, for instance, so i'm inclined to, at least, take their opinion as valid and trustworthy.

And on a side note, Ron Perlman has a new movie out and i'm not talking about Hellboy 2. It's called 'The mutant chronicles'. He, probably wont play the leading role but it may still be something to watch out for.

Yes, well, they have their opinion and you have yours. Both can differ and i have found some of their reviews to differ with my opinion aswell. But, for the most part, i must agree with them.

Hey, it was just a joke.

The reviews I've read so far (excluding the ones that are just a paragraph or two) were generally well written and informed. I caught myself nodding in agreement quite a few times, especially with the review of Sunshine. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the last 20-30 minutes were downright stupid.

The reviews are also quite amusing at times.

Best movie review site in existance:

www.metacritic.com

They make it easy. They take every other movie review's websites ratings and average them. They also average out user's votes for the movies.

My general 'bar' for good movies, or at least movies worth the $10.50 to watch is a 7 or above on Metacritic. If you go with that silver standard, it won't dissapoint you. Even a .5 below 7 will cause you to feel cheated.
