Night of the Living Sam & Max!

They live...again!

More about it here, and the information behind it is quite a blessing. Not only is it primarily the original crew, but Steve Purcell is drawing a comic serial in a fashion that is the only way they could truly do a Sam & Max comic well (and a better job than most webcomics, too). You just can't do without the zany action between the two, and the way they do it is to an outstanding effect.

Sweet!

'Sam&Max hit the road' is one of my favourite adventure games of all time.

Nothing quite like a bunny that beats the shit out of people.

I love Sam & Max. One of my favorite all time games. I just hope they do a better job than Bone and that they do the old talking dog and psychotic bunny justice.

I've never been able to get ahold of a copy of Sam and Max. I love the old school Lucas Arts adventure games (Outlaws, Monkey Island 1-3, and Full Throttle made pretty much all of my gaming that wasn't fallout). Anyone know where I can get just Sam and Max? I've seen old game bundles, but they cost about 40$ usually and they come with atleast 3 games I already own or that wouldn't work on my machines...

They do, but not individually. I looked up their store a while back and they only sold Sam&Max in a bundle with five other games that cost something like 49.99, which I'd rather not pay for a game that probably won't even work on my computer anyway (I've tried Full Throttle, but it's not compatable with XP).

Use Dosbox my good man, or the DOS emulator of your choice. I've gotten it running with Dosbox in a matter of seconds.

The LucasArts Entertainment pack is especially designed to work on Windows XP computers.

It's also LucasArts's response to the popularity of ScummVM.
