This has got to be one of the best ideas I have seen for FO2. Well done, the animations and images are amazing. hope it is all going well.
By the time you get to Cassidy you normaly have better than the jacket anyway. But would still be cool.

what new graphics the mod includes and what
we couldn't get to.

Is this mod the one thats included in the restoration patch?
The npc mod there seems to be different though, because whenever sulik wears leather armor, he looks like the slavers that are wearing leather armor, same with vic. So pretty much they change including the face.
Is it a problem with my installation?
This mod isn't released yet. What you mean should be the B-Team mod. The critters don't have the right graphics, thats the reason, why they change there visual style to someone else, when they carry a different armor.

The Doggie armours could be implemented via the Mr. Fixit mod or as a quest.
I'm strongly support making armours for K-9 and Robodog. Those characters are not significantly more resilient than Dogmeat. They should be as they are mostly made of metal.

In the normal version of FO2, Cassidy can use pistols, but not SMGs and neither can Vic, which means neither can use the big pistols.
I hope this sticks to it. The B-Team Mod looked good until I realised that it let any NPC use any gun, which was rather cheesy.
All the armored chars can only use the same weapons as the original

Here's the NPC armour mod for download, and this marks the completion of stage 1 of the mod. Stage 2 is in the works to make new armoured FRM's for Myron (Metal, combat and PA), and armoured FRM's for Mira. But we REALLY need help with this because i am doubtful it will get done without extra hands (as i am getting rather sick of mass editing NPC's!) Anyone interested in helping PM me.
Below is the release notes included with the FRM's that should answer most questions:
FO2 NPC armour mod 1.0: Release notes
1) This 'mod' is actually a collection of new FRM's.
It is included in Killap's RP or MIB88's Megamod.
It gives Vic, Cassidy, Sulik & Dogmeat new, unique graphics
when they put on different suits of armour. It is
NOT the 'B-Team' mod
2) There are no spear animations for the following:
a) Cassidy PA
b) Sulik PA
C) Cassidy combat
3) There is no pistol animation for Cassidy PA.
In these cases the generic FRM's are used instead.
4) There is no Cassidy Leather Jacket.
Frustratingly, it seems Fallout Ranger did most of him,
but has now dissapeared into the ether.
5) This mod is far from perfect. Do not expect the level
of perfection (!) found in the Vanilla game. Frame offsets
in particular still need work, and Suliks damn feet
still jiggle around in some sequences. Some sequences have
been done quickly and poorly (such as Vic throwing) as it's a
rarely seen sequence. This is mostly the result of having had
2 people working on a 10 man project. Consider this a beta release,

Offset tweaking (bitching offsets!) is basicly all that remains.

7) This mod is the result of 100's of hours of work
by Myself and Jotisz. Why? well, thats a question i asked myself
quite a few times late at night while drawing Sulik's damned feet.
Will we ever see another RPG with this much detail, character, depth and style? No offense, Beth - but i doubt it. Long live Fallout!!

Oh, but I think the second link (sulik) is broken. I am working myself in changing the color of the combat armor frm, but nothing as develloped as you did.

It isn't 100% perfect, but really great work.
The frame offsets are not perfect and here and there it needs a little bit fixing, but all in all it is great work and you guys have my respect. I know, how hard it is to create new critters.
