Original or Director's Cut?

Chromevod

Nope.
So this is a question with a few layers. I have both installed now, and I'm going to play Director's Cut no matter the case. But I also have a little Let's Play... thingy that I'm doing with the original. I had to put it on hiatus for a while, but that's fine. It's nothing big. It's my way of sharing the game with my friends since we can no longer get together as much as we used to.

My question is, would it be too jarring if I were to try and pick up where I left off in the Let's Play, the Canyon of Titan, and just try to have as close to my original run as possible, same choices and everything, in the Director's Cut? Or Should I stick to my original save file and play Director's Cut on my own time?

You might as well finish the original, there is not that huge of a difference between the two. Only upgrade to Unity 5, perks & quirks, some new voice over and aimed shots. But it doesn't change any locations, quests, writing etc.

Well I've given the director's cut a bit of a chance. I do admit that I like the graphics a bit better, they grew very quickly on me. I may switch over anyway for the sake of a visual upgrade to coincide with beginning to record again with my new rig. The new voiceovers are nice as well.

...I may have also gotten Vulture's Cry to actually drop the act too, making her much less annoying in terms of dialogue.
