Ouch, and I thought you guys were picky...

It Wandered In From the Wastes
Hi. Remember me? Yeah, you do. Remember when I registered and started a flame war about giving Fallout: PoS a chance? I thought you guys were picky, that if a game wasn't exactly a certain way, it wasn't worth two shits to you guys and was automatically bad, regardless of the quality of the product. (Of course, this was before the game was released and almost universally panned... ) I thought Fallout fans were the most finicky fans in the world.

Then Dodge unveiled the production version of the 2006 Charger a few days ago at the Detroit auto show, and Mopar Nation went collectively apeshit over the fact that the '06 Charger is a four-door sedan, not the two-door fastback like the Chargers of old.

The '06 Charger

And it goes on and on...

... and on...

...like hyenas to fresh meat...

... or a rhino to a baby.

Seems like Trevor Creed (DaimlerChrysler's head of Chrysler Group design) is the Mopar version of Herve Caen... I think you guys know what I mean.

As for my two cents... I like the looks of the '06 Charger, rather nice without being too outlandish. The only thing that worries me a little is that there's no word of a manual transmission yet... I'm still holding out hope here for a stick shifter, as that's the only thing holding me back from really loving it. If it doesn't happen, well, there's always the new Chevrolet Corvette Z06... :D

Bah, American cars... Is it just me, or do all Corvettes look more or less the same? As for the new Charger, I would rather be seen driving a lawnmower.

...

Pipboy! *hugs*

el_Prez]whats the price tag on the charger? The 2005 Mustang GT is fully loaded at about 25K.
Actually, the Mustang GT starts at 25K. Fully loaded, it's around 29K. I think the Charger will be priced similar to the Magnum: expect the Hemi version to start around 30K.

So I don't have my own car, but this is the car I drive when I get to borrow the old mans:

Peugeot 807 (Not the one in the pic though, but same awesomness. Do you realize how many chicks I can pick up in that thing?

You are forgetting that 1) I could pay them, and B):

The Yugo limo.

These things rule, you can make them run with the motor inside your coffee mill. Or two AA batteries.
