Let's say there used to be such ideas a long time ago, but it turned out to be impossible to fit New Vegas lore. Looking back now, it really was a bad idea.

Our Van Buren is intended to be more of sequel to Fallout 2 rather than prequel to New Vegas. The goal is to implement the original design as close as possible.

 

Let me correct you. I deleted the account myself. You are totally wrong when stating I use NV assets, that's simply not true. And about stealing - one of their members gave me their assets. Frankly, it's not my problem they can't watch after their own crew. My crime, however, was that I used 4, or make it, 5 assets from this bunch without asking the leads. When confronted, I lied that these assets are not theirs. I was a fool. I admit it, and I'm taking a fall for it right now, even thanks to likes such as yourself who spit half-true gossips around without even knowing what really happened. I can't continue the project with this on my back. It's my fault, I screwed up, and I accepted the consequences. Even though I stated an apology to the relevant persons, and it was, sort of, not-even-half-way accepted, I know people will remember and I would always have this portrait of a scumbag. Furthermore, I can't let the community insult my crew members like it did in last few hours just because they fucking know me. If there's one to be blamed and hunted, it's me, not them. So that's it. Project is discontinued. I'm sorry.

No, don't blame them. I've done a bad thing, not them. It may look like an overkill for a few actually totally generic assets, but the righteousness is on their side, I can't deny that. This project is canceled, but that does not mean Van Buren is dead.

 

While I deserve all that hate I was given until I disappeared from virtual space, I can't imagine to continue to work with it. And it's not about me, it's about my team mates as well. I appreciate your support and I understand you don't get this harsh reaction of mine, but I had no choice and I think you would do the same after seeing what I saw from the community. I simply can't continue. Believe me, it hurts me much more than you or anyone else. But, it's done, and there's no way back.
