When did Vertibirds enter service?

Obviously I’m referring to Fallout 2 and Fallout Bible lore here. Does the game (or Bible) say what year the Enclave first started using them? Can’t really trust the wiki anymore so I thought I’d ask here. Anyone know off the top of their head?

I don't remember fully but the quest from a BOS chapter in San Francisco is keen on obtaining the blueprints for the vertibird. I'd say that off of OG Fallout's your best bet is to carefully read in between the lines of that NPC dialogue to figure out whether or not it is something new or just something the BOS is lacking information on.
