not made by the devs. also there's literally only 10. all are great mind you but ten songs isn't enough for 100+ hours of play is it?
agreed its pretty good if kind of a shit fit for fallout.
    ...
    ...
like literally what? maybe the deathclaw guantlet.
yeah it feels really hopeless and desolate while you're HACKIN AND WHACKIN AND SMACKIN
"at least better than fallout 4"
that means practically nothing dude. that's like saying it had more RPG elements than Mortal Kombat X. its like... well yeah of course it does because Mortal Kombat X isn't an RPG.
i mean... the game only has one decent sidequest that doesn't come with any bad shit.
Well the pitt is defintely great. fallout 3's only saving grace is ashur and what they did with Pittsburgh.

    1) Galaxy news radio has 20 music, what do you mean by 10?

    2) I don't know, I honestly think it fits the game, but I'll respect your opinion.

    3) I love Weapons designs like R91 (Assault Rifle), Combat shotgun, laser rifle, railway rifle, plasma rifle, and 10mm pistol.

    4) I agree that radio music can be a huge distraction. But I still think the atmosphere was amazing.

    5) At least Fallout 3 had skills systems and some skill checks (Although, it's not that good compared to New Vegas and Fallout 1)... I don't know, I was pissed that Fallout 4 completely removed skills system. I think that's why I said it was better than Fallout 4.

    6) There were some quests that I genuinely enjoyed, such as Oasis (I hated the story, because of what they did to Harold and Inconsistencies, but I liked there were various choices you can make in the quest itself. Such as, how you can kill Harold in various ways, helping the tribe, Killing the tribe, etc...) I also liked replicated man too, despite the quest not fitting for the Fallout game.

replicated man is my favorite quest from the game as well. the way they portrayed the commonwealth in fo3 is much more interesting than what we ultimately got.

    personal taste is really personal

This is a thing which annoys me in Fallout 3, the designs of energy weapons are an atrocity .

But then, across the series, almost all of them are ugly. My favorite is FO1's laser rifle.

Yeah I agree, I think i said that as well. Would you consider joining the master as a n ending? It's more of a game over.

  6. I don't really get why the Pitt gets a pass by some around here. Sure the art direction and world-building is better than Fo3 base game, but that's not saying much. The grey moral choice however, is not nearly as grey as it's presented. Wernher's motive there is to be powerful, and to get back at Ashur, dressed up in all the heroic zeal of freeing the slaves (which don't actually get freed, it seems.)

    http://www.nma-fallout.com/threads/was-i-supposed-to-feel-bad-the-pitt-dlc-discussion.215979/

This thread, especially the last post by Risewild, kinda takes The Pitt back-it's little more than another black or white choice in essence.

The game considers it an ending and even if it's non-canonical now, it's still an actual ending because at the time the team wasn't sure if Fallout 1 was gonna be a success and have a sequel. And it's something i can actually do and see it happen on the screen unlike Fallout 3 where i have to activate the purifier if i like it or not.

Pitt is honest. they at least tried with this one.

Auto axe was a cool weapon and they set out a way to make your own ammunition, though it was very rude and crude. Good luck finding .44 rounds in base game.

I honestly love most of the weapon designs whether it's Bethesda or Interplay/Blak Isles/Obsidian, I love laser rifle in Fallout 3/NV for its simplicity, and I also love the design of Wattz 2000 Laser rifle in Classic Fallout for its classic futuristic design.

Weapons that I hate design-wise are Alien Weapons from Mothership Zeta DLC, a DLC that I loathe most, Dart Gun(Fallout 3), Assault Rifle (Fallout 4), Plasma Rifle (Fallout 4), Institute Rifle (Fallout 4), Combat Rifle (Fallout 4) and pretty much most of the weapons that had massive design changes in Fallout 4... Wow, I'm really shitting on Fallout 4, aren't I?

  12. Kind of a given on this site, no need for any surprise. I'll add the combat shotgun from Fallout 3 into the mix, why the hell it had to look like a PPSH is beyond me, especially after an era when there were enough ww2 games for anyone to tell.

The reason why I liked The Pitt is that it has a better story compare to the main quest.

  14. I mean, given the MQ of Fallout 3 is pretty darn bad, then I guess I would agree. However, there is a difference between being slightly less bad and actually good. Of course I would be happy to hear why you believe it to be so.

I've said before in this thread that Fallout 3 might have been an honest attempt to try to make a Fallout game, but they failed. The Pitt, in trying to present itself as a greyer choice than the obvious good and evil choices of the main game, but not actually doing so, can be called less honest. At least Fallout 3 does not bother to try and convince you the quests are anything other than black or white.

    Hmm.
Based off the ones I've played, my order is 1 > NV > 2 > 3 > 76 > 4. I have a harder time hating 76 because it didn't pretend to be much especially showing that it was a Fallout 4 multiplayer mode. My expectations were aligned fairly well with the product whereas with 4 I was expecting Bethesda Fallout but with better shooting and a lot of lessons learned from New Vegas. I was also way more naive and not as critical about games yet like I had been with other mediums. I think Fallout 4 was the beginning point of me becoming critical of games. I started to learn about game design and a bunch of other stuff. I'd been like that with music for the longest, then movies and books, and then games. I guess I gotta appreciate that about it. If Fallout 4 wasn't a big let down compared to New Vegas, I'd probably still have 1 and 2 on my backlog, never playing older RPGs from the 80s and 90s or games done in the same style.

I don't really mind playing old games, never really played games for graphics... of course I have a limit.... Wasteland 1 is my limit, as long as it's fallout 1 predecessor I couldn't get myself to play that game, just archaic.... but 90's gave us x-com, age of empires, doom.... lots of awesome games.
I think this is a problem with today's gaming industry, it's too much about graphics at the expense of storyline and player choices... also they treat you like a moron... I love how in fallout 1 you just start with a task... there's no damn arrow pointing you to the objective you need to explore and find out yourself

People should focus on things that they like instead of things that they don't. How about Best Fallout Game for your next video/thread combo?

As for as the worst game, I thought most people would've agreed that it's Brotherhood of Steel. Unless Fallout Shelter counts as a game? Unsure.

Because this has been discussed to death? Everyone has their favorite and it has been discussed quite extensively. The same can be said for the worst games in the series, but that's more fun.
