Bethesda can't even do "power fantasy" correctly and that's clearly what they are going for. In Skyrim you are hailed as the Dragonborn, the second coming of Jesus Christ, but yet in the majority of the quests you are just a little bitch who does errands.

To be honest I think this type of role for the player (You, me, Tom, Dick or Harry) is just par for the course.
That is the fatal number 1 contradiction in all RPG's that make you feel like ' The Gopher ' whether you are king, emperor, the chosen, It's always the same !
Yeah I totally agree. Even the newer ' Fallouts' as in conversions can make this basic error. You are sent from a vault wearing basic gear when the vault's patrols wear combat armour !
Taking Bethesda out of the equation, all RPG's ( to my knowledge ) treat you like a hand rag.
