Fallout TV Series season 2 teaser for a trailer

MATE THEY EVEN GOT WRONG WHICH SIDE THE DINOSAUR IN NOVAC IS FACING! how do you fuck up that abhorently, absolute fucking retards, couldn't imagine the writers being more than a group of lobotomized downies.View attachment 37721
Shhhhhhh! it is the best game adaptation ever! flying power armor, iron man face reveal thingy, no fallout side faction like the gun runners or the followers, no fallout og power armor the t-51b, shady sands in the wrong location, the 4 vault in los angelos that the master and the ncr didn't find when they were inside their territory
remember people if the capital fell, your country will do, we all know this, right? right?

I always felt the various NPC dialogues about the legion roads being safe as a clear parallel to how Hitler and Mussolini "made the trains run on time"
How many modern Fallout fans (of the game or the show....or members here!) know about Mussolini?

Most Fallout fans don't know about Tim Cain.
Most people who watch Blazing Saddles don't get John Hillerman's joke about the Laurel & Hearty handshake.

I think most Fallout fans know Tim Cain since he defended or liked the Fallout show. Because of this, I occasionally see people reference Tim Cain's opinion on the show whenever someone criticizes the show. Leonard Boyarsky, however, not so much.

I dont get the "oh but one of the original creators likes it so you MUST do so too!" spiel. its a shitty argument from brainless idiots who cant get enough of sucking triple-A dick.

Edit: nearly forgot to say that these peoples asses have been probed so much that they cant form their own thoughts.

The show will suck that much is certain. As for roads being safe, I do remember how NCR is overstretched by the virtue of how many problems they have got. That's why there are so many quests we can do for NCR.

However, I am pretty sure it only affects Mojave and maybe roads leading to it like long 15. Case in point: Happy Trails from Honest Hearts dlc. We can already see it in New Vegas world building with raiders stalking major roads leading to New Vegas. The destroyed long 15 shows that NCR has got real economy outside of New Vegas, which is bleeding them dry. If Oliver wasn't such a glory hound idiot, NCR would have been able to push the Legion out

The only good thing about this is knowing the NCR is a crater and with the Legion very clearly still having a leader, likely have lost the second battle of hoover dam. Now every NCR cultist will have to impotently mald about it to only fellow NCR cultists in a hugbox echo-chamber (reddit) for the rest of their lives.

Which isn't surprising when you realize they unironically, without a moment of contemplating or reflection, without even listening to the actual native people of Nevada and the Mojave, believe the NCR is, was and has always been the "good guys" of the setting.

Without the NCR the West Coast is open to an invasion by the Legion.
There is probably some plotline now that the BOS will go to war with the Legion but that shows only how little the writers understand the BOS. The BOS was never about rebuilding civilization, at least not for everyone else. They were technology hoarders, locked up in their bunkers and waiting for the rest of the world to die off and then rebuilding or so they claimed.

The Enclave would probably engage the Legion in war but probably resort to weapons of mass destruction that kill indiscriminately as they don't care for anyone outside their own organization, the rest of the world's population are mutants in their eyes.
I haven't watched the first series but I am pretty sure that the Enclave has also been rewritten to now recruit people from the wasteland.

Wiping out the NCR in the background was not a good idea and only shows that Bethesda and the series' writers want to keep the world in a permanent undeveloped wasteland were people still live in scrap made huts and there is no effort in rebuilding.

I'm kinda happy that there's gonna be post-apocalyptic tribal elements. But at the same time, I'm worried.
well the NCR according to tv show runners are blood worshipers, they got nuked by one bomb and they turned into tribals while living inside civilized vault, what a writing

i won't name this a good thing
I would. A massive steaming pile of shit attracts the worst gnats imaginable and having modern California but in a post-apocalypse (complete with all the cultural and political environment of it) be the example so many are purporting as the ideal civilization is borderline cultish behavior.

Which isn't surprising when you realize these absolute golems actually think the policies of California for the last 40 years were a good thing.
Case in point, this is headcanon and art done by a NCR  fan mind you.
Look at the wording, and the actions implied in this, and keep in mind the person who wrote it thinks what's being done is a positive outcome.
So no, I think this is exactly what the NCR deserves.
This is what west coast California deserves.
The only thing the show did accurately was making SoCal a mystery meat lesbo horde of weirdos and perverts who kill each other or fuck animals, with the only competent people being blatant hardcore marxists.

The Enclave in the show was only shown for a few minutes in an episode when Wilzig made his escape, and then after that, they were never mentioned again for the rest of the season or had any meaningful impact. I doubt the Enclave will make an appearance in the second season since they were just there to make a quick reference for the fans to soy at, just to never mention them again like other lore-breaking references in the show.

Season 3 will have the Brotherhood of Steel fight the Enclave and Vault-Tec with Liberty Prime

This is probably the thing that's going to get me the most bitter. One of the villains fallout was meant to have be an active threat later down the line and it's done so shittily by Bezos and Beth. Abysmal.

Good, because I am sick of the fan wanking of the Enclave. They were an elite group once that were defeated. They don't have dozens of bases all across the United States and numbers that are in the thousands. Why else would they resort to biological warfare if they had the numbers to clear out the 'mutant' population.

Personally I never liked the idea of Vault-Tec ever being their own entity or villain. Especially 200+ years after the war. Pre-war they were a company compromised by the Enclave, which makes sense, but the Enclave dying should have been the nail in the coffin for it all. By association, the last thread of Vault-Tec's true purpose pre-war dies with them. Fallout games should move forward, developing new villains and threats for the region and issues that arise from new ideologies and civilizations trying to sprout up, that's an endless tale, the whole point of "War never changes". And the idea that Vault-Tec would ever start the war is laughably retarded. At the end of the day Vault-Tec is a corporation which exists for profits, which ceases to exist when you initiate global thermonuclear war.

i hate when they give unnecessary backstory for everything, for the fuck sake not everything should have a backstory or a purpose behind it, why you put your energy and money in these things? vault boy, vault jump suits, vault tek, these all were irrelevant, vault tek was paid by the enclave, they were working for the enclave an they added the social experiments because the enclave gave them money, this is way greater critique to capitalisms than the whole show tried to do
the world felt more alive when things didn't had these "lore exploration"

i always find it weird how people think every city in fallout 2 map in now ncr land or state, like arroyo or vault city etc, new vegas stated the ncr want to make the mojave its 6th state so the 5 original states are still the only ones which means arroyo and vault city are independent
