Thanks, the Fallout scene is new to me let alone the fallout modding scene, heh. I just don't want to end up in a worse case scenerio of playing hours in and finding myself having to restart from a mod issue.

To my understanding, addiction/withdrawal in Fallout 1&2 can only be gotten rid of with time. An entire in-game week must pass before the effects of your addiction and withdrawal will end. Do keep in mind that taking more chems while addicted/in withdrawal may delay the process of overcoming it.
