What if your character was dying of cancer from the beginning of the game and you had to complete your main mission before you died? As the story goes by your condition gets worse and worse and you eventually bite it whether or not you were able to finish. Of course this could make the game...

True, Arcanum had a really great chargen, I don't think I've seen a game with so many backgrounds to choose from since. Some of those are really great, such as: "Frankenstein Monster" and "Idiot Savant", and when I read "Miracle Operation" it actually made me a little sad, which is an unusual...
Sure, that's fine, but I mostly meant besides the norm that's referenced here on the forums all the time. But if those are the only two games you've played, alec, then that's fine, too.
So I got this game Twilight 2000 the other day and was checking out its awesome in-depth character generation system, and was wondering if any of you know of any really cool/in-depth character creation systems you have seen in a video game/RPG.

Planescape Torment was one of his best performances IMO, some of his character's lines are really well delivered. Still puts a chill to my bones when I hear TTO. :wink:
Well, the show is on a weekly basis, usually updated Sunday/Monday so we can expect the second part sometime around then next week. As for Arcanum, I couldn't imagine a Tim Cain review without him talking about that. :D
