      Bought a copy of Fallout Trilogy DVD (Interplay, 2009) from Amazon. Kinda interesting because it includes unofficial patches for FO1&2.

        TeamX made a repacked 1.2 patch based on EU release for US version before. Interplay just included it and 1.3.x unofficial patch in Fallout trilogy.

        Ah, I see now. So the 1.2 patch is official, you helped me a lot. I am looking forward to playing the vanilla Fallout games, so I was really close to get the FO1 patched with the 1.1 patch and sell the Fallout Trilogy. Thanks!

        Long story short, Bethesda asked Timeslip if it's OK to include sfall in re-released digital copy of FO2, and she agreed.

        sfall has been included in old GOG release (she was hired by them at the time) and Interplay's Steam release (without asking her permission) as part of engine bug fixes for a long time. Bethesda is actually pretty nice (or just being cautious) to ask her permission when they re-release FO2 on GOG/Steam.
