    and like, presenting documentation as an "easter bunny santa claus" type thing so ridiculous, when we all understand that documenting participation is _the point_ of inviting them there; not only would there be a list but it should be extensively detailed.
    I can only imagine not being filmed as some sort of "top tier" - but theres no way to not get on the list, it's the entire purpose of the endevour.

    I tried to *give* a young (but enormous) seagull some leftover sandwich, to the point of pushing it against its beak.
    As soon as I gave up, and dropped the food, it snatched it and flew away; they literally cannot comprehend *not* stealing.

    To be honest, there's probably tons of overlap in Finnic and Saami traditions, but I wouldn't know, cus we never, ever paid them any mind, other than subjugating and stuff, but I have no idea how to even say "Hello" in Saami. I know 0 words.

    Someone somewhere commented to the effect of - the robots in the Matrix really knew best, when they selected 1999 as the era to trap all of humanity, and lull us into a false peace. Ofc it varies from place to place, but if you're a westerner, late 90s, early 2000s are essentially heaven on earth.

    and in case you wondered, I asked wtf is the difference between Triceratops horridus and Triceratops prorsus, cus every answer seems to be "nose horn thickness" but that's biologically insignificant, and it always bothered me.

    Turns out the answer was "nose horn thickness, but also some other skull details, that are much more significant" *pictures* COOL! Love that!

    The "ivory tower" perception (I think) comes from people who approach these topics in a similar way as flat earthers when talking to scientists. Dime a dozen response from the scientists view.
