UGO interviews Jeff Gardiner on DLC

It was hardly "taking a risk", Lingwei. RPG developers do this all the time (Obsidian, Bioware) as an incentive to buy their new expansion packs. People hear "more levels!" and go "wowza!".

    FOnline second open test started

On the bright side, this is the only substantial complaint I have heard (and share) about the FOnline project: The mindless PKing. I've had my share of Diablo in 1998-9, thanks. The worst thing about the groups (on both sides of the language barrier) who shoot indiscriminately (and take great...

Were Vertibirds developed before the war?

As far as I know, Valve doesn't consider OpFor and Blue Shift as canon at all.

Fallout 4- doesn't have to be incremental, chronologically

Can you imagine Bethesda's take on Caesar's legion? Buhahaha.

Fallout 3 still in PC sales chart

Pretty interesting that it would stay on the PC charts but disappear from the console ones, considering the major gripe of many PC gamers and Fallout fans about the game was it's "console-ification" and new target audience - console gamers. BETHESDA TAKE THE HINT

Fallout 2 & 3 side by side comparison

I don't know if that warrants being called an inter-town relationship, Ausir. You have some random whack who wants to blow a city up with no real explanation given, and there's no counter-action you can take on behalf of Megaton. Well, yeah, you can kill the Tenpenny honcho - but who in Megaton...

Were Vertibirds developed before the war?

If you consider FO3 canon, they were developed before the war. They appear in the Museum of Technology. I don't remember if there was more detailed info about them in FO2, so I don't know where this article draws it's information from: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/VB-02_Vertibird

Naked man? Large, phallic object? I am not confident enough in my sexuality for these kind of things. 1/10.

There's as much english-speaking douchebags as russian ones ;) I think the whole thing would work better if a server app would be released (when the whole thing is done, duh) to allow us run servers with smaller, more concentrated playerbases.

The vast language barrier (russian vs english) of different players + The vast difference in gamestyle (MMO vs Roleplay) of different players = Your proposed solution becomes completely impractical

Cool! Tesla tanks in Fallout! Cross promotion with Red Alert

Yeah, there's a newspost thread about this where people have been ripping it apart already. It's a shame to re-visit the "pre-war" era of the Fallout world. A very strong element of the series (with the exception of 3 duh) was The Unknown. The uncertainty of what's out there in the present...

Fallout Developers Profile - Jesse Heinig

lol. Oh man. Horribly accurate as it may be, I wouldn't give Emil the credit of coming up with something like this ;) If he did, then man, I wish they had put as much thought into other quests.

Playing a neutral or evil characters?

While I generally agree with the above notion, remember that this is much harder to do in a game like Fallout than in a game like Deus Ex. Deus Ex plays like a movie - while your actions may change how things play out, the plot remains much the same. The factions there do not change their...
