How the heck was Oblivion better? I hated it, the combat feels clunky and the whole gameworld feels even more dead than Fallout 3's, despite having more greenery! Only decent thing about Oblivion was the Dark Brotherhood sidequest and Shivering Isle.
Still a work in progress as it just came out a few days ago, but it has potential.

Man, I gotta learn how to use the GECK. After that fiasco with Roy, I wouldn't mine turning Tenpenny Tower into a rubble with this mod!
I'm guessing he means that it's a good thing that the RPG genre is attracting more people who would otherwise never play RPGs if it wasn't for Fallout 3.
Heh, yeah, posting this on /v/ has already gotten quite a number of interesting reponses.
Sadly, these problems are the result of trying to mix the FPS and RPG genre. The game has to force you to give an incentive to level up, because otherwise you wouldn't be doing as much damage with the same gun. Bethesda did wrong on this, they should've tried making Fallout 3 into an FPS with...
It doesn't look too bad. Sounds a hell of a lot better than the stupid alien one anyway, it's supposedly 1/5 of the Capital Wasteland, so I do look forward to some new content and a new environment to explore.
Just saw it, it wasn't a very good movie. Decent action flick overall, but it just isn't a Terminator one without Ahnold. And I mean the real Ahnold, even if T3 kinda sucked at least he was still there, not a fake digital rendition.
Memes stop being funny when they leak out of 4chan. I remember when Caturday was still a /b/ thing years ago, a lot of those pictures came from those threads.
I'm not jumping to 7 anytime soon, it has compatibility problems with non-english games like Japanese ones. DX10 isn't worth it either, there aren't any games worth waiting for that are going to be using it anytime soon.
Because I just recently played STALKER today, and after a few hours I'm already hooked! It was also inevitable to compare it to Fallout 3, and I've realized that this game did the FPS/RPG mixing way better. No more levelling-up that required an arbitrary set of skill points just to get your gun...
He does, actually. I've only heard it twice though since the Enclave radio loops his discussion about baseball more often, but every once in a while he'd have words of wisdom to say, and the WC4 quote was one of them.
Good lord, that would've been horrible! Malcolm McDowell as Eden was one of the good things about Fallout 3, I loved listening to his rants on the Enclave radio. A shame they didn't give him a better role though, he could've gotten more lines.
