No surprise here: after some research GameWare concludes that there will be no German-language uncensored version of Fallout 3, or in other words the version published in all German-speaking countries will be the German censored version.

This tends to be how publishers normally do it.

Was The Witcher censored in Germany too?
i ask that because at their site they say that the most altered version of the enhanced editions is the german one.
I hope for the germans who will buy Fallout 3 that some patch is avaiable to unlock the censored content, if that can be done at all.

Fans will fix all of that, along with making the kids killable and fixing the chem names soon after release.

Even without a CS, It's my guess that someone could butcher the one for Oblivion in such a way to edit/change Fallout 3. People are generally quite resourceful even without the proper tools.

But I hope they'll release a CS, just in case the game sucks.. if it is really, REALLY bad then I will probably resell my copy on eBay. >.>;

Also, I dislike to think about countries censoring games; it irritates me.

If Fallout 3 were a book instead of a game, would they censor it then? Remember: not all media censors are dictators, but all dictators are media censors...
